2. Description of the Related Art Various rigid endoscopes have been developed and are used for diagnosing and treating an affected area by inserting them into a body cavity through a trocar mantle. Since this endoscope may be contaminated by contact with an affected part in the body cavity or by adhesion of blood or the like, it is necessary to sterilize it before the next use. Gas sterilization with EOG (ethylene oxide gas) is performed.
By the way, such an endoscope has a long and narrow elongated shape and has a complicated internal structure in which a narrow passage is provided along the longitudinal direction, and a lot of labor and labor are required for sterilization work. is doing. Therefore, for example, an endoscope sheath device as described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 2-54734 has been developed. That is, this sheath device has a structure that includes a hard portion that serves as a cylindrical cap-shaped support body and a soft portion that is formed of an elastomer material or the like and that is wound in a roll shape. It is designed to be attached to the side.

However, the sheath device having such a structure has a structure that is attached to a small portion of the distal end portion of the insertion portion on the distal end side of the endoscope, in other words, it is inserted into the body. Since only a part of the part is covered, it is still necessary to sterilize the part of the insertion part inserted into the body that cannot be covered by the sheath.
In addition, such a sheath device is not particularly considered for use in a rigid endoscope that is inserted into the abdominal cavity or the like through the trocar outer tube. That is, when this sheath device is used for a rigid endoscope, it is difficult to smoothly pass through the outer tube because the soft portion is made of a material having a large friction coefficient such as an elastomer.

Moreover, since it is necessary to form an airtight structure between the outer tube and the inner tube of the outer tube, the gap between the outer tube and the inner tube is severely limited. Further, in such a sheath device, even if it is possible to pass through the inside of the mantle tube, in the case of a type having a blade at the tip of the mantle tube, the blade may damage the soft part. Therefore,
In view of the above circumstances, it is an object of the present invention to provide an endoscopic sheath device that is airtight to the outer tube and is not likely to be damaged by the blade of the outer tube. .

In the sheath device for a rigid endoscope according to the present invention, the entire inserted hard portion is covered with the hard sheath portion, and when inserted into the body cavity, the inserted hard portion may be contaminated with blood, bacteria or the like. This eliminates the need for sterilization of the inserted rigid part.
Further, according to the sheath device for a rigid endoscope of the present invention, the operating portion connected to the insertion rigid portion is covered with the soft sheath portion, and the button of the operating portion can be operated from the outside of the soft sheath portion. There is also no risk of contamination, which makes sterilization of the rigid endoscope unnecessary.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. FIG. 1 shows a sheath device for a rigid endoscope according to the present invention.
A hard sheath portion 1 and a soft sheath portion 2 are provided. In the figure, reference numeral 3 is an insertion rigid portion of the rigid endoscope, 4 is an operating portion of the endoscope, 5 is a connecting portion, and 6 is a connector for connection with an external device. The hard sheath portion 1 is made of a hard material that is unlikely to be damaged by the blade of the outer tube or the like, for example, a metallic material such as stainless steel, and is formed into a bottomed tubular shape having a fitting hole 1A at one end. The insertion rigid portion 3 is inserted into the hole 1A from the distal end side and fitted into substantially the entire insertion rigid portion 3. Further, the rigid sheath portion 1 can be smoothly inserted into the outer tube (not shown) and the insertion rigid portion 3
It is formed with high dimensional accuracy so that it can be smoothly inserted and has an airtight structure and a watertight structure between them, and further, its outer peripheral surface 1B and the inner periphery of the fitting hole 1A. The surface is given a smooth mirror finish.

The hard sheath portion 1 of this embodiment is formed so that the central axis of the fitting hole 1A is offset from the axis of the insertion hard portion 3. Then, in the vicinity of the maximum thickness portion in the rigid sheath portion 1, air is fed along the central axis.
A water supply path 13A and a forceps path 14A are formed, and a cock 13D and a valve 14D are attached to the air supply and water supply opening 13C and the forceps opening 14C which are the intakes of the air supply and water supply path 13A and the forceps path 14A. There is. As shown in FIG. 3, various windows such as an observation window 1 are provided at the bottom of the rigid sheath portion 1 facing the distal end surface of the insertion rigid portion 3 of the endoscope.
1, the illumination light window 12, a water supply nozzle 13B for cleaning the observation window 11 and the like, and a forceps port 14B are provided.

The soft sheath portion 2 is detachably attached to the open end side of the hard sheath portion 1 while maintaining a watertight state and an airtight state, and is attached to the operating portion 4. The soft sheath portion 2 is made of a material such as an elastomer and is formed into a thin film that can be expanded and contracted. The switch 4A provided on the operation portion 4 from the outside of the soft sheath portion 2,
4B can be pressed. It is to be noted that the soft sheath portion 2 is adapted to be stretched and unfolded from the roll-like wound layer state shown in FIG. 2 to be applied when used, but after use, it is removed from the hard sheath portion 1. Discarded and not reused. Therefore, according to this embodiment, when it is reused for the next patient, the rigid sheath portion 1
The used soft sheath part 2 is removed and discarded, the hard sheath part 1 is sterilized and disinfected, and another soft sheath part that has been sterilized and disinfected in advance is simply attached. Is unnecessary.

As described above, according to the present invention, substantially the entire insertion rigid portion of the rigid endoscope is fitted with the rigid sheath portion whose inner and outer surfaces have good slidability, and each operation button is attached. Since it can be attached to the flexible sheath, there is no risk that the rigid endoscope will be contaminated due to contact with the patient, adhesion of blood, etc., or contact with the practitioner. In other words, the sterilizing and disinfecting work of the hard endoscope, which requires a lot of labor and time, becomes unnecessary, and it becomes possible to perform examinations and treatments for patients and the like very efficiently and quickly. Further, according to the present invention, since the hard sheath portion is formed of a hard material to have a constant outer diameter dimension and is subjected to smooth surface processing, airtightness can be obtained at the time of insertion into the outer tube, and the outer tube has a blade. Even if it is provided, since the endoscope does not bend to the left and right, there is no fear that the blade will damage the hard sheath portion or the like.
