2. Description of the Related Art As one of endoscopes for observing and treating the inside of a body cavity, for example, a distal end is inserted into the abdominal cavity through a trocar mantle pierced into the abdomen or the like, thereby directly observing an affected part or the like. Rigid endoscopes that can perform the procedure have been developed and used. In such an endoscope,
Since there is a risk that each part may be contaminated due to contact with the affected part in the body or adhesion of blood, etc., it is necessary to perform sterilization and disinfection before and after use, for example, EOG (ethylene oxide gas). ) Is performed.

By the way, this rigid endoscope has a relatively thin and long shape, and has a complicated structure such as a narrow passage running inside the body along the longitudinal direction. The sterilization operation requires much labor and labor. Accordingly, an endoscope sheath device as described in, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 2-45734 has been developed. This endoscope sheath device has a configuration in which a rigid portion serving as a cylindrical cap-shaped support and a flexible portion formed of an elastomer material or the like and wound in a roll shape are provided. It is designed to be attached to the front end side.

However, the sheath device having such a structure is structured to be attached to a small portion such as the distal end portion of the insertion portion on the distal end side of the endoscope, in other words, to enter the body. Since only a part of the insertion part is covered, the part of the insertion part inserted into the body that cannot be covered by the sheath still needs to be sterilized. Further, such a sheath device is not particularly considered for use in a rigid endoscope which is inserted into, for example, the abdominal cavity through a trocar mantle tube. That is, when this sheath device is used for a rigid endoscope, it is difficult to smoothly pass through the mantle tube because the flexible portion is formed of a material having a high coefficient of friction such as an elastomer. In addition, since it is necessary to form an airtight structure between the outer tube and the inner tube of the outer tube, the dimensional accuracy between the inner tube and the outer tube is severely limited.

Further, even if such a sheath device can pass through the inside of the mantle tube, for example, if it is used for a type having a blade at the tip of the mantle tube,
There is a possibility that the soft part may be damaged by the blade. In view of the above circumstances, the present invention provides airtightness between the outer tube and the outer tube without the risk of damage due to the blade of the outer tube. It is an object of the present invention to provide a rigid endoscope apparatus capable of reliably absorbing a difference in height.

According to the rigid endoscope apparatus of the present invention, the length of the rigid insertion section and the rigid sheath section is adjusted by an adjusting mechanism provided between the rigid insertion section on the endoscope side and the rigid sheath section on the sheath side. Can be absorbed, and even if there is some variation in the length of the individual inserted rigid portion or the length of the rigid sheath portion, both lengths are adjusted to these unique lengths. The adjusting mechanism 10 freely expands and contracts in the axial direction of the rigid endoscope 5 to absorb a difference in length between the rigid insertion portion 1 and the rigid sheath portion 6 on the sheath 8 side, and to adjust the length of the endoscope 5. The sheath 8 is detachably mounted on and attached to the device. As shown in FIG. 2, in this embodiment, the sheath 8 includes a detachable operation member 12, a retaining member 13, a spring 14, and an attachment member 11. . The attachment / detachment operation member 12 is externally inserted in a free state in an axial direction and a circumferential direction with respect to an engagement member 2A protruding from the operation portion 2, and is detachably attached to a threaded portion 11C of the attachment member 11 described later. A threaded portion 12 </ b> A is formed on the open end side for screwing the sheath 8 to the endoscope 5. The retaining member 13 is used as a retaining means for the attaching / detaching operation member 12 when the mounting member welded to the rigid sheath portion 6 is pulled out of the inserting rigid portion 1. In this embodiment, the engaging portion 2A is used. Is screwed with a male screw portion 2C provided on the outer peripheral surface of the device and fixed by screws (not shown). Note that this screw is used for the detachable operation member 12.
Can be inserted and attached through a through hole 12B provided in the hole. The spring 14 is provided between the attachment / detachment operation member 12 and the retaining member 13, and freely expands and contracts in the axial direction of the insertion rigid portion 1 so that the length of the insertion rigid portion 1 and the rigid sheath portion 6 is reduced. It is designed to absorb the difference.

The mounting member 11 is slidably inserted in the axial direction and the circumferential direction with respect to the outer peripheral surface of the rigid sheath portion 6, and the base portion 7 of the expandable and contractible soft sheath portion 7 is inserted into the outer peripheral surface.
A groove 11A into which A is inserted is formed. After the absorption adjustment operation is completed for a predetermined length, that is, after the axial position of the rigid insertion portion 1 is adjusted, the rigid sheath portion is adjusted in the circumferential direction. 6 is fixed by welding 11B or the like. Note that the welded mounting member 11 has its projecting position retracted by a length Δd from the open end of the rigid sheath portion 6, whereby the connection between the screws provided on the mounting member 11 and the attachment / detachment operation member 12 is established. Can be performed. The adjusting mechanism 10 includes an operation unit 2 as shown in FIG.
Is provided with a notch 2B provided in the engaging portion 2A protruding from the outer periphery and a notch 6A provided in the rigid sheath portion 6, and these notches are closely contacted and fitted to each other. Accurate positioning in the circumferential direction of the endoscope can be performed.

Therefore, according to this embodiment, for example, at the time of use, first, the rigid sheath portion 6 of the sheath 8 is inserted into the insertion rigid portion 1 of the rigid endoscope 5 from the distal end face, and the rigid sheath portion 6 is cut. The notch 6A is exactly engaged with the notch 2B provided in the engaging portion 2A of the operation portion 2 so that the circumferential position is accurately adjusted. At the same time, while pushing the detachable operation member 12 against the elastic force of the spring 14 to the left in FIG. 2 and locking the attachment member 11 of the hard sheath portion 6, the detachable operation member 12 is rotated in the circumferential direction. , Are screwed together to some extent. As a result, the rigid sheath portion 6 and the operation portion 2 are connected, and the elastic force of the spring 14 makes the detachable operation member 12

In this manner, the rigid sheath portion 6 is inserted into the insertion rigid portion 1. After that, the flexible sheath portion 7 is stretched to cover the entire adjusting mechanism 10 from above, and then the operating portion is further moved. When the expansion unit 2 is expanded until it is completely covered, the insertion rigid portion 1 and the operation unit 2 of the rigid endoscope are completely covered by the sheath 8 in a watertight state.

As described above, according to the rigid endoscope apparatus according to the present invention, the adjustment mechanism provided between the insertion rigid portion on the endoscope side and the rigid sheath portion on the sheath side enables
It is possible to absorb the difference in length between the inserted rigid portion and the rigid sheath portion, and even if there is some variation in the length of the individual inserted rigid portion or the length of the rigid sheath portion, these differences can be absorbed. The adjustment mechanism expands and contracts freely according to the specific length, which allows absorption and adjustment of the difference between the two lengths, so that the insertion rigid part, the operation part, and the sheath can be easily watertight or airtight. Can be combined in a state.
