2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as a plate glass pallet 01, for example, as shown in a front view of FIG. 5 (A) and a plan view of FIG. 5 (B), a plurality of floor frame frames 02 juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction at appropriate intervals are arranged. And a plate glass receiving frame 03 having an inverted V-shaped cross section which is erected in the central portion thereof and extends in the longitudinal direction, and a plurality of rubber cushions attached to the surfaces of the floor assembly frame 02 and the plate glass receiving frame 03 at appropriate intervals. It is known to be formed from No. 04 and No. 04. Here, 05 is a plate glass. In order to convey the plate glass 05 using this plate glass pallet 01, the plate glass 05 is placed on the plate glass receiving frame 03.
The plate glass pallet 01 is loaded onto a truck or the like using a forklift or a crane, and then loaded and unloaded.

However, such means have the following drawbacks in transporting the sheet glass pallets in the warehouse. (1) When transporting, the plate glass pallet 01 must be lifted up, and its weight is about 20 tons in the case of a large plate glass 05 having a size of 7.0 m × 3.0 m, for example, and a large capacity forklift, etc. It is expensive and therefore uneconomical. (2) Since the lifting means must be changed according to the weight of each plate glass pallet 01 in order to improve the work efficiency, the operation is not uniform and the handling is troublesome.

According to such a construction, the plate glass pallet yard, which is arranged facing the running path of the plate glass pallet carrier,
A plurality of rows of floating rollers, which are juxtaposed to each other so as to be aligned with each other on the transport carriage and on the storage space next to the track, and capable of supporting the bottom surface of the plate glass pallet, and are mounted on the transport carriage. Since the multi-stage expansion / contraction lateral feed means that can be inserted into and removed from the bottom of the mounted plate glass pallet and that can move the plate glass pallet above each of the floating roller rows is provided, the following operation is performed. (1) When transporting the plate glass pallet in the warehouse, it is not necessary to lift it, and the plate glass pallet can be slid over the floating roller row, so that the equipment cost and the power cost are drastically reduced. (2) Since it is not necessary to change the conveying means according to the weight of the plate glass pallet and the plate glass pallet can be slid on the floating roller row, the operation is uniform and the handling is easy. (3) To prepare for loading and unloading flat glass pallets to the outside of the warehouse, it suffices to install only one crane at the warehouse entrance / exit, reducing equipment costs and power costs.

In such an apparatus, the plate glass pallet 1 is used when the plate glass pallet is loaded and unloaded in a warehouse.
Are loaded and unloaded by a crane from the transport truck onto the loading / unloading yard 5. The carriage 3 stops its alignment in front of this yard 5, and the pallet floor gripping mechanism 22 is telescopically gripped and joined to the plate glass pallet 1 on the yard 5 for loading and unloading, and is pulled onto the carriage 3 and this is on the rail 4. And moves to the front of the yard 5 for storing pallets and stops the alignment, and the pallet floor gripping mechanism 22 is expanded and contracted to send the plate glass pallet 1 onto the yard 5. At this time, the weight of the plate glass pallet 1 is determined by the plurality of floating roller rows 6 on the carrier 3 and the storage 5.
The multi-stage expansion / contraction lateral feed means 7 is supported and moved by means of a very small driving force for sliding the plate glass pallet 1 on the floating roller array 6. The plate glass pallet 1 is stored at a fixed position by engaging the stoppers 8 with both ends of the floor frame 2 on the storage space 5. When the stored plate glass pallet 1 is to be unloaded, the same operation as above may be performed in the opposite direction from the storage location 5 to the loading / unloading location 5 by the transport vehicle 3. In addition, the loading and unloading of normal-sized sheet glass pallets can be performed uniformly by the same operation of this device.

According to the apparatus of the embodiment as described above, the plate glass pallet yard placed facing the runway of the plate glass pallet carrier, and the above the carrier dolly and above the place beside the runway. A plurality of rows of floating rollers that are arranged side by side so that they can be aligned with each other and that can support the bottom surface of the plate glass pallet, and can be inserted into and removed from the bottom of the plate glass pallet that is installed and mounted on the transport carriage. Since the plate glass pallet is provided with the multi-stage telescopic lateral feed means that is movable above each of the floating roller rows, the following effects can be obtained. (1) In transporting the plate glass pallet in the warehouse, it is not necessary to lift it and the plate glass pallet can be slid on the floating roller row, so that the equipment cost and power cost are greatly reduced, Therefore, economic efficiency is improved. (2) Since it is not necessary to change the conveying means according to the weight of the plate glass pallet and the plate glass pallet can be slid on the floating roller row, the operation is uniform and easy to handle.
Therefore, work efficiency is improved. (3) For the loading and unloading of sheet glass pallets to the outside of the warehouse, only one crane needs to be installed at the loading and unloading port of the warehouse, which reduces equipment costs and power costs, thus improving economic efficiency.

In summary, according to the present invention, the plate glass pallet yard arranged facing the lane of the plate glass pallet carrier is aligned with the pallet yard on the carrier dolly beside the track respectively. A plurality of rows of floating rollers that can be arranged side by side and that can support the bottom surface of the plate glass pallet,
By having a multi-stage telescopic transverse feed means capable of being fitted into and removed from the bottom of the plate glass pallet installed and mounted on the transport carriage and moving the plate glass pallet onto each of the floating roller rows, Since there is no need to lift the handling means, it is not necessary to change the handling means depending on the weight, and therefore equipment costs and power costs can be saved, and a plate glass pallet transport device in a warehouse that is easy to handle is obtained. It is extremely useful.
