Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an amount of air passing through a heat exchanger from being decreased by a method wherein an air discharging port is formed from a front surface of a device easing toward an upper surface and a bell mouth for an axial flow blower is formed into a shape assisting a flow of air directed toward the upper surface. CONSTITUTION:An air discharging port 20 is formed from a front surface 1c to an upper surface 1e of a device easing 1. The air discharging port 20 is provided with an air blowing grill 21. The air blowing grill 21 is formed to be curved from its front surface toward the upper surface. A bell mouth 22 for an axial flow blower 10 is formed to have a shape for assisting a flow of air flowing upwardly, i.e., an upper part of the bell mouth 22 is expanded at a large angle and a clearance is formed between its extremity end and the blowing grill 21. With such an arrangement as above, even if there is an obstacle such as wall placed near and in front of the outdoor device, air passed through the heat exchanger 9 is guided into the bell mouth 22 and further blown from the air discharging port 20 not only forwardly but also upwardly, resulting in that a reduction in capacity of an air condition can be prevented.
