In the conventional unit structure described above, if the air inlet is located in the front of the unit, the unit image is determined by the grill of the inlet, and it is difficult to match the interior of various rooms. Especially in a floor-standing air conditioner, the wall surface occupies a large proportion and the depth dimension is large (20
(0 mm or more), so it was difficult to match the interior. Also, to make it easier to match the interior of the room,
The air intake port of the air conditioning unit is provided at the rear corner of the unit, the upper part, etc., and the air outlet is provided on the lower side of the unit.
Blow-off fluid directly hits the air-conditioned person (especially during heating operation)

The above object is achieved by making the unit structure thin (depth size), enlarging the unit front panel, and using the air inlet and outlet around the panel in order to make the unit structure easy to match with the interior of the air-conditioned room. . Further, in order to improve comfort, a plurality of outlets are provided so that the air-conditioned person can select the outlet direction, and the outlets are elongated in the vertical direction of the room. As a result, the possibility that the airflow from the air conditioning unit directly hits the air-conditioned person can be reduced, and the comfort level is improved.

[Operation] By reducing the thickness of the air conditioning unit (for example, depth of 200 mm or less), the presence in the air conditioning room (living room) can be reduced. Furthermore, the front panel of the air conditioning unit can be brought closer to the projected area of the unit, and the panel can be coordinated according to the living room (for example, the same wallpaper as the living room can be pasted on or the same color as the living room can be painted). The only conspicuous place in the air conditioning unit is the air inlet / outlet, and the presence / absence of the air conditioning unit can be reduced by forming the air inlet / outlet into the unit lateral corner or the slit shape at the top and bottom.

In the air conditioning unit structure as described above, in order to improve comfort, a plurality of air outlets may be provided and the air flow of the air outlets may be controlled. For example, set the outlets to the left and right of the unit (lateral direction)
In each case, two locations are provided, and a total of four locations are provided. During the cooling operation, by blowing the air from the left and right outlets in the upper part to the upper part of the living room, the cool air spreads throughout the living room, and the cold air does not directly hit the air-conditioned person and does not cause discomfort. Further, since the suction port is also provided in the left-right direction of the unit, even if the air-conditioned person is in front of the unit, the suction airflow of the unit does not directly contact the air-conditioned person, so that no discomfort occurs. During the heating operation, by blowing hot air from the lower slit outlets on the left and right sides of the air conditioning unit, the warm air warms the entire room through the wall and reaches the upper part. In this case, a further effect can be obtained by providing a guide plate or the like at the unit blowout portion so that the blowout airflow does not directly hit the air-conditioned person. In addition, by automatically swinging the guide plate, the blowing airflow can be swung, and the temperature distribution in the living room can be made uniform to further improve comfort.

Inside the air conditioning unit, a square-shaped heat exchanger 7 is installed at the center of the unit, and a dehumidifying water (drain) receiver 8 is provided immediately below the heat exchanger 7. The upper blower 92 and the lower blower 93 are installed in the upper part and the lower part of this heat exchanger, respectively. The casings 921 and 931 of this blower have a two-way blow-out structure in which air is sucked in from the front panel direction and blown out in the left and right directions of the unit. Further, an operation panel 4 for delivering electric products for controlling the blower and the unit is installed below the upper air outlet of the unit, and a shielding plate 5 is provided between the uppermost and lowermost portions of the unit and between the air inlet and the air outlet. is set up. The shielding plate 5 is provided to prevent the air flow blown from the unit from directly returning to the suction port and reducing the efficiency of the air conditioning unit.

With the air conditioning unit exterior structure as described above, the front panel can be coordinated with a color or wallpaper that matches the living room, and no matter what room the air conditioning unit of this embodiment is installed, it will not look strange. There can be no equipment. Also, as shown in Fig. 4, in order to make the air conditioning unit more suitable for the living room, if it is of a wall-embedded type and the size of the part protruding from the wall forward is about 0 to 50 mm, the presence of the air conditioning unit in the living room Can be lowered. Moreover, the effect can be further improved by attaching the separate piece 13 to the upper part of the unit.

The flow of air in the air conditioning unit will be described below. The air in the living room is attracted by the blowers 92 and 93 to become suction air 61 and enters the unit through the intake ports 2 on the left and right sides of the unit. After that, the air passes through the heat exchanger 7 and exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the heat exchanger to be cooled (cooling operation). The air is sucked into the blower and blown out from the left and right outlets 3 and becomes air 22 and 23. To be blown out. In this case, the air volumes of the blowers 92, 93 can be changed by changing the blower rotation speed. An example of the air volume setting is shown in FIG. During the cooling operation, the air volume from the upper blower 92 is increased and the air volume from the lower blower 93 is decreased. In addition, the amount of air from the lower blower is increased and the amount of air from the upper blower is reduced during heating, as opposed to during cooling. Further, the blower airflow is adjusted by the vertical blades 31 and the horizontal blades 32 so that the air-conditioned person is not directly struck by cold and warm air and does not cause discomfort. By automatically swinging the vertical blades 31 here, the blowing airflow spreads throughout the living room and comfort is increased. When the left and right heat loads of the air conditioning unit are different, the left and right air volumes can be adjusted by controlling the wind direction plate 922 in the blower case. That is, if this wind direction plate is set as shown by the dotted line, the ventilation resistance of the wind direction plate increases and the air volume decreases.

As described above, according to the present unit structure, it is possible to freely change the air volume ratios of up, down, left and right, and at the same time, freely change the direction of the blown airflow. Therefore, air conditioning can be performed according to the situation of the living room in which the air conditioning unit of the present embodiment is installed, and comfortable living room conditions without discomfort can be obtained. In addition, since the air outlet and the air inlet are slit-shaped, the unit itself has a thin shape, and the air conditioning unit suitable for the living room can be finished.
