D-D: ClCH = CHCH 2 Cl 1,3- dichloropropene D-D in a liquid having a property of easily very volatilization spread becomes gaseous in the soil, and including various nematodes, wireworms, cutworm, etc. It has a powerful nematicidal effect against soil pests. Since D-D has such a property, the currently commercially available dosage form is an oil agent, and a technique that can be put to practical use in other dosage forms has not yet been developed.

As a method of using this oil solution, after plowing the soil well to level the ground, holes are formed in a staggered pattern at a distance of 30 cm in a depth of 15 to 20 cm, and the oil solution is injected by an irrigation machine. However, this method is extremely complicated in terms of agricultural work and requires a considerable amount of time and labor to control it. Moreover,
The acute oral toxicity LD 50 for D-D is 300 mg / kg
(Mouse), which belongs to the category of ordinary substances in terms of toxicity and is relatively safe, it is necessary to be careful not to inhale gas or get it in your eyes or mouth.
In addition, since it has corrosiveness against gold metal, it is very troublesome to handle since it is necessary to wash the equipment after use with petroleum or the like. As a method for solving the inconvenience of applying these oil agents, a method has been proposed in which an inert carrier such as bentonite, diatomaceous earth, or pulp residue is impregnated with D-D to granulate it and pour it into the soil (special feature. (See Japanese Patent Publications No. 38-6499 and No. 41-13880). This method has an advantage that it is not necessary to use a special irrigation machine or a spraying machine, and a conventional granulating sprayer can be applied as it is. However, since DD is very easily volatilized by nature, it is extremely difficult to substantially suppress the volatilization of DD by simply impregnating the inert carrier and granulating it. Therefore, such granulation cannot be said to have fundamentally improved the drawbacks of the oil formulation, and the inherent insecticidal and nematicidal effect of DD cannot be sufficiently exerted.

As a method of improving such conventional granules, a technique has been proposed in which DD is included in a cyclic dextrin to form granules (see JP-A-58-21602). This method is greatly improved in the action and effect in comparison with the conventional DD granules. However, the cyclic dextrin is expensive, and it is necessary to go through the step of including D-D in the cyclic dextrin before the granulation step of the granule, and thus the unit price is very high compared to general granules. It has drawbacks such as sticking.

The inventors of the present invention have conducted in-depth research to solve these drawbacks. As a result, D-D is adsorbed on a granular carrier which is generally used for pesticide granules, and then covered with a water-soluble film-forming substance and a water-absorbing substance to make the granules inexpensive and easy. It was found that the insecticidal and nematicidal effects were sufficient. That is, D-D
After being adsorbed on the granular carrier, the volatilization rate of DD can be suppressed by covering with a water-soluble film forming substance. In addition, general granules require a drying step after granulation by adding water, but with D-D granules, D-D
May be volatilized. In the present invention, since the water-absorbing substance is added after the addition of the water-soluble film forming substance, the drying step is unnecessary.

The method for using the granular nematicidal nematicide according to the present invention is different from the conventional oil irrigation method, and can be easily squeezed into the soil by using agricultural machinery of a general farmer, which saves labor. At the same time, the amount of DD volatilized during the application of granules can be reduced, so that the loss of DD can be reduced. Also, once the granules of the present invention are pour into the soil, the water-soluble film-forming substance gradually dissolves due to the moisture in the soil.
-D is gradually released and exerts a controlling effect for a long period of time. As a result, even if the amount of the active ingredient used is half the amount of the conventional D-D oil agent, the same control effect can be obtained.
You can now effectively use.

After irrigation at a position of 15 cm, it was covered with a polyethylene film and degassed twice on the 11th and 16th days after the treatment. Thereafter, seeds of tomato (cultivar Toko K) were sown at 5 locations in each ward, 10 seeds per location, and watered three times daily for cultivation. Strains were dug three times 40 days, 50 days and 60 days after sowing, and the root-knot parasitic index was investigated by the Goal index method. The root-knot parasitic index was divided into 5 classes according to the following criteria.

The Goal index thus obtained is expressed as a percentage by the following formula, and this is used as the parasitic index.

Regarding the nematode density, 5 points of soil of 50 g in one section were collected twice before treatment and 60 days after seeding, separated by the Baleman method, and the average number of nematodes per 50 g of soil was investigated. The results are shown in Table 2.

As shown in Table 2, the granular nematicidal nematicidal agent of the present invention showed a perfect control effect even with half the amount of DD required when using the conventional oil agent, and no phytotoxicity was observed at all. . Further, it showed a very excellent control effect even compared with the granules of the control agents 1 and 2 in which DD was simply adsorbed on the granular carrier.

以上のことから、本発明の粒状殺虫殺センチュウ剤は、

From the above, the granular nematicidal nematicide of the present invention,
It is very practical because it is easy to handle and can effectively use DD.
