Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the degreasing method for surfaces of a metallic strip which rapidly executes a degreasing stage and the process for production of aluminum foil. CONSTITUTION:This method for degreasing the surfaces of the metallic strip consists in making the metallic strip travel around water cooling rolls 6A, 6B and evaporating and burning away the oils sticking to the traveling metallic strip by premix type line burners 8 in a water cooling roll section. This process for production of the aluminum foil consists in treating the aluminum foil in the same manner at the time of the separating stage of an aluminum foil production stage, thereby evaporating and burning away the oils sticking thereto at the time of rolling the foil.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in annealing treatment of stainless steel strip, coating treatment of steel strip, annealing treatment of cold-rolled steel strip, production of shadow mask, etc., an alkaline cleaning liquid or a trichloroethane cleaning liquid adheres to the surface of a metal strip. Rolling oil or cutting oil is degreased. In the production of aluminum foil of approximately 100 μ or less, as shown in FIG. 2, the aluminum foil coil W rolled by stacking two sheets is mounted on the pay-off reel 1 and separated by the separator 2 in the separation step. It is wound around the two tension reels 5A and 5B via the guide roll 3 and the separate roll 4 of the above, and the wound coil vaporizes the rolling oil adhering to the aluminum foil surface during rolling in the next annealing step. It is degreased by burning and removed, and is annealed. The aluminum foil having a thickness of 100 μm or more is rolled one by one, and then processed in the same manner.

However, in the former wet degreasing method using alkali or trichloroethane, the wastewater treatment is indispensable and the degreasing treatment requires a long time. However, in the latter degreasing method, the oxygen required for vaporization and combustion removal is supplied from the voids between the layers of the aluminum foil wound in a coil shape, while the combustion gas is released. However, since the inter-layer voids are very small, the gas flow is poor, resulting in 1300 to 1600 mm.
Width of aluminum foil is about 100 Hr / chg in the entire annealing process
It takes 1.2 to 1.5 times as long as the time required for annealing, and there is a problem that the efficiency of the annealing process is very poor.

EXAMPLE Next, FIG. 1, which is an example in which the present invention is applied to the production of aluminum foil, will be described. In the figure, 1 is a pay-off reel, and the pay-off reel 1 is equipped with an aluminum foil coil W rolled by stacking two sheets. The two stacked aluminum foils Wa and Wb of the aluminum foil coil W are the first and second water-cooled rolls 6 in the separator 2.
After being partially wound around A and 6B, the aluminum rolls Wa and Wb are separated into two sheets by the separate roll 4 via the guide roll 3 and further separated into the third or fourth water-cooled rolls 6C and 6D. After being partially wound, it is wound around the first and second tension reels 5A and 5B. In addition, 7 is the 1st-4th water-cooled roll 6 of aluminum foil Wa, Wb.
It is a pressure bonding roll for A to 6D.

A well-known premix type line burner 8 is provided in the vicinity of the first to fourth water cooling rolls 6A to 6D, and the combustion frame thereof is the first to fourth water cooling rolls 6A.
~ Aluminum foil Wa, Wb wound around 6D and cooled
One surface is evenly contacted in the width direction, and degreasing is performed by vaporization and combustion removal. In this case, if the temperature of the aluminum foil itself rises too much, the strength of the foil decreases and it becomes impossible to satisfy the specifications of the aluminum foil, or the aluminum foil breaks and the operation stops. Further, when it is desired to degrease only one surface of the aluminum foil, if the temperature of one surface of the aluminum foil becomes too high, the other surface is also degreased. Further, considering the heat conduction of the aluminum foil, the surface temperature of the first to fourth water-cooled rolls 6A to 6D is preferably 50 ° C. or lower.

As the burner for heating the aluminum foil, one capable of uniform degreasing, that is, it is necessary that the combustion frame uniformly hits the width direction of the aluminum foil, and a line burner known from this viewpoint is used. To do. In order to perform uniform degreasing, in addition, it is necessary to supply oxygen necessary for burning the rolling oil adhering to the surface of the aluminum foil, with a uniform combustion frame and good combustion controllability. Therefore, it is preferable that the line burner 8 is of a premix type and the air-fuel ratio is approximately the theoretical value of 0.95 to 1.05.

Further, during the operation, the transportation of the aluminum foil may be stopped, or before the operation is started, the combustion frame of the line burner 8 may hit the same place and the aluminum foil may be burned. Therefore, in such a case, the combustion of the line burner 8 is stopped or the line burner 8 is movably arranged, and the line burner 8 is immediately moved to the water cooling rolls 6A to 6A.
It is preferable to evacuate from D.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the rolling oil adhered to the front and back surfaces of the two aluminum foils to be polymerized is composed of the first water-cooling roll 6A and the line burner 8 and the second water-cooling roll 6B and the line burner 8. And then the third water-cooling roll 6C and the line burner 8 and the fourth water-cooling roll 6D and the line burner 8 are removed.
The case where the rolling oil on the other surface of the one aluminum foil Wa or Wb separated by and is removed, that is, the front and back surfaces of the aluminum foil are degreased has been shown. Only the second or third and fourth water-cooled rolls may be used. Alternatively, the slitter 9 may be provided in the separator 2 to divide the aluminum foils Wa and Wb in the separating step.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, a premix type line burner vaporizes and removes adhered oil while winding and running a metal strip on which oil is adhered around a water-cooled roll. Therefore, overheating of the metal strip can be prevented, surface oxidation or thermal strain can be avoided, and degreasing treatment of the metal strip surface can be easily performed. Further, in the aluminum foil production, in the aluminum foil separation step required in the aluminum foil production step, the removal of the rolling oil adhering at the time of rolling is completed, so it is sufficient to perform only the annealing in the subsequent annealing step, The annealing time can be shortened significantly.
