て重くなりキャスティング時の回転性能が劣り、しかも
ドラグ機能とクラッチ機能を兼用した機構であるため、
クラッチを独立させて機能させることができず、操作性
も悪い等の問題点がある。 そこでこれらの両者の欠陥を改善するためにハンドルを
有する駆動軸に釣糸捲取り時のみ駆動歯車を直結せしめ
ると共に駆動軸及びスプール軸とは別軸にドラグ装置を
設けてスプール軸のピニオンと歯車で連結しスプールの
逆転時のみ制動を行うようにすることが特開昭58−5
126号公報で知られている。 しかしながらこの方式は釣糸の捲取り中において設定し

結されるので、魚の引きによる張力に応じてドラグ作用
が働かず、釣糸が切断する問題点がある。 本発明はこれらの現状に鑑み、遊星歯車機構の利用して
従来方式の欠陥を改善することはもとより、特に捲取り
操作時においても設定されたドラグ性能を充分に発揮し
て捲取り中の釣糸の切断を確実に防止できるようにした
ドラグ装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

手21の回動により制動歯車19のドラグ力を強弱自在
に調節できるように構成されている。 第5図は内側歯歯車15を駆動歯車8に回動可能に支持
