方式はこれらの欠陥は解消するがスプール軸が軸方向に
押圧されてその押圧力が軸受に加わった状態で回転する
ので回転が重くなると共にスプールもドラグ機構によっ
て重くなりキャステイング時の回転性能が劣り、しかも
ドラグ機能とクラッチ機能を兼用した機構であるため、
クラッチを独立させて機能させることができず、操作性
も悪い等の問題点がある。 そこでこれらの両者の欠陥を改善するためにハンドルを
有する駆動軸に釣糸捲取り時のみ駆動歯車を直結せしめ
ると共に駆動軸及びスプール軸とは別軸にドラグ装置を
設けてスプール軸のピニオンと歯車で連結しスプールの
逆転時のみ制動を行うようにすることが特開昭58−5
126号公報で知られている。 しかしながらこの方式は釣糸の捲取り中において設定し
たドラグ力以上に魚が引いても捲取り作用が優先して直
結されるので、魚の引きによる張力に応じてドラグ作用
が働かず、釣糸が切断する問題点がある。 本発明はこれらの現状に鑑み、遊星歯車機構を利用して
従来方式の欠陥を改善することはもとより、特に捲取り
操作時においても設定されたドラグ性能を充分に発揮し
て捲取り中の釣糸の切断を確実に防止できるようにした
ドラグ装置を提供することを目的とするものである。

は、固定軸の外側にドラグ調節摘手を螺合しその回動に
より制動筒を進退せしめるか、制動筒の外側面に形成し
たカムにドラグ調節摘手を当接せしめその回動によりカ
ム作用で回動筒を進退させることもできる。 また太陽歯車を圧着制動する制動部材は摩擦板、スプリ

共にハンドル回動筒11には前記ピニオン5に噛合する
駆動歯車12が回動自在に嵌着し、更に前記駆動歯車1
2には前記遊星歯車9・9…が噛合する内側歯13が設
けられている。 また前記制動筒8の押圧縁8′より内側部には摩擦制動
部材14・14…で圧着されかつ前記遊星歯車9・9…
に噛合する太陽歯車15が嵌着され、固定軸7の外端に
進退自在に螺着したドラグ調節摘手16の回動により制
動筒8を軸方向に進退せしめ押圧縁8′が摩擦制動部材
14・14…を圧着することにより太陽歯車15を制動
筒8に任意のドラグ力で嵌着できるように構成されてい
ると共に前記ハンドル回動筒11には逆転を阻止するス
トッパー爪17が係合する爪車18が設けられている。 従ってドラグ調節摘手16により制動筒8を進退せしめ
て摩擦制動部材14・14…による太陽歯車15のドラ
グ力を予め設定した後、ハンドル10を第3図のように
釣糸捲取り方向である時計廻り方向に回転すると、ハン
ドル回動筒11に軸支されている遊星歯車9・9…は実
線矢印の如く時計廻り方向に自転しながら同方向に公転
して内側歯13を介して駆動歯車12を時計廻り方向に
回転させ駆動歯車12に噛合するピニオン及びスプール
軸4を介してスプール3を回転させ釣糸を捲取ることが
できる。 しかしてこのような捲取り時においてスプールの負荷が
増大して太陽歯車15の設定されたドラグ力を上回る
と、駆動歯車12の内側歯13が回転しない状態になる
一方、ハンドル回動筒11は時計廻り方向に回転される
ことにより遊星歯車9・9…は反時計廻り方向に自転し
ながら時計廻り方向に公転して太陽歯車15をそのドラ
グ力に抗して時計廻り方向にスリップ転させる。 またハンドル10による捲取り操作をしない状態におい
て釣糸の引出しによりスプール3が逆転すると、ピニオ
ン5を介して駆動歯車12が反時計廻り方向に回転する
ことにより内側歯13も同方向に回転する。ところがハ
ンドル回動筒11はストッパー爪17で逆転を阻止され
ているので遊星歯車9・9…は公転しないで反時計廻り
方向に自転のみし太陽歯車15をそのドラグ力に抗して
時計廻り方向にスリップ回転させ、スプール3は逆転し
釣糸は操出される。 なお前記実施例において固定軸7を断面欠円状にして制
動筒8を回り止め嵌着しているが、固定軸7に制動筒8
を回動可能に構成してもよい。 第5図に示す実施例は、駆動歯車12を太陽歯車15に
形成した軸筒部に回動自在に嵌着した場合であり、第6
図に示す実施例を駆動歯車12を直接固定軸7に回動自
在に嵌着した場合であり、また第7図及び第8図には制
動筒8の端面にカム面8′を形成し、該カム8′に固定
軸7に軸着したドラグ調節摘手16に設けた突部16′
を当接せしめて制動筒8を進退せしめる実施例が示され
ている。
