In order to solve this problem, we provide temporary storage spaces corresponding to each bill storage section for each denomination.
We have devised a means to temporarily hold banknotes in each temporary holding space. However, this also requires a mechanism for storing banknotes from the temporary holding space into the banknote storage unit when the deposit is approved, and a mechanism for returning the temporarily held banknotes from the temporary holding space to the operator when the deposit is not approved. It is necessary to provide these mechanisms for each temporary holding space.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the upper position of the banknote storage section is used as a temporary storage space, and since the banknote storage device does not require a specially set temporary storage space, it is possible to use a circulating system. When applied to bill depositing and dispensing machines, the space can be significantly reduced and the machine can be prevented from becoming larger. In addition, storage of temporarily suspended banknotes at the time of deposit approval is done by removing the partition material from the storage section, so it can be done in a very short time and can be quickly moved to the next deposit or withdrawal process. effective.
