Abstract

PURPOSE:To temporarily reserve bank notes through utilization of the bank note containing space of a bank note containing part, by a method wherein a temporary reserving space is formed in the upper area of the containing space by means of a partitioning material. CONSTITUTION:By charging depositing bank notes P in a space part 27 of a bank note charge port 6 for customer in one lot, the side edge in the direction of width of the note is placed by guide plates 27B and 27B' in a state that the edge is positioned more inwardly in the direction of width of the note than a flange part, and is moved to a transferring part 35 through rotation of belts 24 and 25. Thereafter, the notes pass one by one through a route, shown by a solid line, and are conveyed to containing parts 34, 35, and 36 classified by a kind of the note and a first containing part 31 by means of a delivery means 38, and are temporarily reserved on partition materials 3c, 3c.... When confirmation is made by a customer, the notes are transferred to support tables 3B, 3B..., and lowering of the notes to a variable set position causes temporary containing of the notes.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The above-mentioned conventional machines are intended to quickly return the deposited banknotes if the operator disapproves the deposit.However, this type of machine has become widespread. As time goes by, the usage status by operators has been ascertained, and the results show that there are very few operations by operators to disapprove deposits, and operations to approve deposits account for the majority.

In order to solve this problem, we have devised a means for temporarily storing banknotes in each temporary storage space by providing temporary storage spaces corresponding to banknote storage units for each denomination. However, this also requires a mechanism for storing banknotes from the temporary holding space into the banknote storage unit when the deposit is approved, and a mechanism for returning the temporarily held banknotes from the temporary holding space to the operator when the deposit is not approved. It is necessary to provide a mechanism for each temporary holding space. 5゜Thus, with the above means, it is necessary to provide each of the above mechanisms for each temporary holding space, so a large space is required for the machine. , which brings about the problem that the ti machine becomes large.

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention temporarily holds the deposited banknotes in an accumulated state, stores the temporarily held banknotes in a type-specific banknote storage section when the deposit is approved, and temporarily holds the banknotes (a banknotes) when the deposit is returned. In the banknote storage device, the J51 is inserted into the circulation type banknote deposit/output machine, which is configured to return deposited banknotes to a banknote storage section for dispensing among the type-specific banknote storage sections at the time of withdrawal. A banknote storage section in which a cradle for accumulating banknotes is movable up and down and has a frontage on the holder; A partition material that enters the storage space at an upper height position and forms a temporary storage space in the upper area of the storage space, and a banknote feeder that is provided on one side above the opening of the storage space and feeds banknotes into the storage space. a transport body, and a kicker roller which is provided in the central area above the opening and moves to an upper position to guide the loaded banknotes when feeding banknotes, and is located at a lower position to feed out the banknotes when taking out banknotes. a feed roller and a gate roller, which are provided in the other side area above the opening and form a gate gap through which the fed banknotes pass one by one; to prevent the tip of the banknote from entering the gate gap, and is located at a retreat position when feeding the banknote, and the kicker roller;
A feed roller, a locking member that allows the gate member to feed banknotes from the gate gap, and a locking member that allows the partition material to move forward and backward with respect to the storage space and to move up and down within the storage space, and to move the cradle up and down. The bill storage unit is equipped with a control drive unit and is configured to temporarily hold deposited banknotes at an upper position of the banknote storage unit.

Note that one side edge in the banknote width direction in the present invention does not mean one side edge in the longitudinal direction of the banknote, but refers to the transport width direction of the banknote, and when the longitudinal direction of the banknote is the transport direction, the banknote This corresponds to one side edge in the short direction. In addition, the bill width regulating member is installed in the storage section of the deposited bill storage and feeding device.
Needless to say, it is not necessary to provide it on the side of the banknote conveyance path to the device.

In addition, although the identification unit of this embodiment uses a common identification method for identifying deposited banknotes and disbursed banknotes, the recognition level for disbursed banknotes is set loosely compared to the recognition level for deposited banknotes. The front/back discriminating element may be used only at the time of deposit, for example, to distinguish between deposited banknotes and disbursed banknotes.

Further, in the case where the banknote storage unit for withdrawal of the present invention has a temporary storage unit corresponding to each denomination, the banknote storage unit including the temporary storage unit is treated as the banknote storage unit for withdrawal. In this embodiment, the upper space in the storage section is shared by the partition 413C for entry and exit into the storage section and for the hour of the pedestal, but the space dedicated to 7 o'clock storage is provided for each storage section. may be provided.

As explained above, according to the present invention, the upper position of the banknote storage section is used as a temporary storage space, and since the banknote storage device does not require a specially set temporary storage space, it is possible to use a circulating system. When applied to bill depositing and dispensing machines, the space can be significantly reduced and the machine can be prevented from becoming larger. In addition, the storage of temporarily held banknotes during the deposit approval period is done after the partition material is removed from the storage section, so it can be done in a very short time, and it is possible to quickly move on to the next deposit or withdrawal process. It has various effects.

The deposited banknotes are temporarily held in an accumulated state, and when the deposit is approved, the temporarily held banknotes are stored in the type-specific banknote storage unit, and when the deposit is returned, the temporarily held banknotes are returned to the operator, and when the deposit is returned, the temporarily held banknotes are returned to the type-specific banknote storage unit. In a banknote storage device in a circulating banknote input/output machine that feeds out deposited banknotes stored in a banknote storage section for withdrawal, a cradle that has an opening at the top and accumulates banknotes can be moved up and down. The banknotes enter the storage space at a height above the upper surface of the stacked banknotes on the cradle that is lowered to a predetermined position in the storage space by lowering the banknote storage section provided therein, and temporarily enter the upper area of the storage space. A partition material that forms a holding space; a bill feeding conveyor that is provided on one side above the opening of this storage section and feeds the bills into the storage space; and a bill feeding conveyor that is provided in the center area above the opening and that moves upward when feeding bills. a kicker roller that moves to a position to guide the loaded banknotes and is located at a lower position to feed out the banknotes when paying out the banknotes; and a kicker roller provided in the other side area above the opening;
A feed roller and a gate roller form a gate gap through which the bills are passed one by one, and a feed roller and a gate roller are positioned at an advanced position when feeding bills and lock the leading edge of the banknote to prevent the leading edge of the banknote from entering the gate gap. a locking member that prevents the banknotes from being fed out and is positioned in a retracted position to allow the kicker roller, feed roller, and gate member to feed out the banknotes from the gate gap; and a locking member that allows the partition material to move forward and backward with respect to the storage space and the storage space. A banknote storage device for a circulation type banknote deposit/dispensing machine, which is equipped with a control drive unit that moves a cradle up and down within the bank and a control drive unit that moves a cradle up and down, and temporarily holds deposited banknotes at an upper position of the banknote storage unit.
