Abstract

PURPOSE:To smoothly send paper sheets one by one without being broken, by installing a paper sheet stopper member which is revolution-supported on a paper sheet guide plate and a holding means which can position-hold a paper stopper member selectively at an engagement position and a waiting position through turn. CONSTITUTION:When a paper sheet P is set in a paper sheet accommodation part 10, a paper sheet stopper member 31 is position-held at an engagement position by using a holding means 35. Accordingly, the lower rank paper sheet P among a plurality of paper sheets P set in the paper sheet accommodation part 10 is prevented from intruding inadvertently into a paper sheet separating part 20 through a gap G, by the paper sheet stopper member 31. While, when the paper sheet P is transported, the paper sheet stopper member 31 is turned from the engagement position by using the holding means 35, and position-held at a waiting position, and releases the contact relation between the paper sheet stopper member 31 and the paper sheet P. In this state, if a sending-out roller 19 is turning-driven in a prescribed direction, the paper sheets P are sent out successively from a paper sheet separation part 20 to the paper sheet separation part 20.

Here, the sheet storage section 10 has a mounting surface 11
And a paper guide plate 13 which is erected above the mounting surface 11 with a gap G for transporting, and a plurality of papers P stacked on the mounting surface 11 are guided at one end thereof with a paper guide. Board 1
It is configured such that it abuts against the guide surface 14 of No. 3 and is urged downward through the weight lid 17 or the like to stand by in preparation for delivery to the sheet separating section 20. More specifically, the width dimension of the paper guide plate 13 (dimension in the direction perpendicular to the paper surface of FIG. 4) is selected to correspond to the width dimension of the paper P. Further, the gap G is selected (for example, 2 mm) so that the number of sheets of the paper P sent from the paper storage unit 10 to the paper separating unit 20 is small. Further, at the lower end portion of the paper guide plate 13, a paper guide portion 15 that is inclined in the paper transport direction (X direction) is formed so that the paper P can be sent out smoothly.

Here, the paper stopper 29 is provided so as to be capable of projecting and retracting on the portion of the mounting surface 11 corresponding to the paper guide plate 13. More specifically, the paper stopper 29 is selectively positioned and held at a standby position below the mounting surface 11 shown in FIG. 5 and a locking position where it abuts the lower end of the paper guide plate 13 shown in FIG. It is possible. Thus, when setting a plurality of sheets P in the sheet storage unit 10, the sheet stopper 29 is projected above the standby position and positioned and held at the locking position. As a result, the leading end of the plurality of sheets P is guided by the guide surface 14 of the sheet guide plate 13 and the sheet stopper 29.
The leading end portions of the respective paper sheets P can be aligned by abutting against each other.

Further, in order to feed the sheets P from the sheet container 10 one by one, the sheet stopper 29 is moved backward and positioned and held at the standby position, so that the sheet stopper 29 and the sheet P come into contact with each other. Break the relationship. Then, as shown in FIG. 5 in that state, when the delivery roller 19 is rotationally driven in the direction of the arrow, the sheets P in the sheet storage unit 10 are sequentially urged by the rollers 19 and a small number of sheets P are separated by the gap G.
It is sent out to the sheet separating section 20 via. Then, the sheet separating section 20 separates the sheets P one by one and feeds them in a predetermined direction.

By the way, in the above-mentioned conventional paper feeding device, when the paper is set, the operator is required to align the rear end portions of the plurality of papers P placed on the loading surface 11. When the edge is pressed or tapped, the leading edge of the lower sheet P is strongly pressed against the sheet stopper 29, and the sheet stopper 29 smoothly moves due to the contact frictional force acting between the sheet stopper 29 and the edge of the sheet P when the sheet is conveyed. It may be blocked and you may not be able to reach the waiting position completely. When such a situation occurs, when the sheet P is conveyed from the sheet storage unit 11, there may be a conveyance failure or the tip of the sheet stopper 29 may hit the tip of the sheet P, resulting in damage or the like.

According to the present invention, a plurality of sheets stacked on the above-mentioned mounting surface are provided at one end with a paper guide plate which is erected above a mounting surface with a conveying gap. In a paper feeding device provided with a paper accommodating portion that abuts a portion against a guide surface of the paper guide plate and urges it downward to prepare for feeding to the paper separating portion, the paper feeding device is rotatably supported by the paper guide plate. A sheet stopper member, and holding means capable of selectively positioning and holding the sheet stopper member at the locking position and the standby position by rotating the sheet stopper member, and the sheet stopper member is positioned and held at the locking position. In the case of contacting the leading edge of the sheet stored in the sheet storage section to restrict the sheet from moving from the gap to the sheet separating section,
In addition, when the sheet is positioned and held at the standby position, the contact relationship with the sheet is released and the sheet is allowed to move from the gap to the sheet separating portion.

The holding means 35 is means for selectively positioning and holding the paper stopper member 31 at the standby position and the locking position. Specifically, the holding means 35 is composed of a solenoid 36, an arm 37, a connecting member 38, etc., as shown in FIG. The solenoid 36 is attached to the paper guide plate 13 and is configured to move the arm 37 up and down. The arm 37 has a connecting member 38.
It is connected to the paper stopper member 31 via. Then, when the solenoid 36 is driven to project the arm 37 downward, the paper guide member 31 is rotated counterclockwise from the standby position by a predetermined angle and is positioned and held at the locking position. At this time, the paper guide member 3 is placed on the placement surface 11.
Since the escape hole 32 is formed in correspondence with No. 1, the paper guide member 31 does not interfere with the placement surface 11.

According to the present invention, the paper stopper member rotatably supported by the paper guide plate, and the holding means capable of selectively positioning and holding the paper stopper member at the locking position and the standby position by rotating the paper stopper member. The sheet stopper member contacts the leading edge of the sheet accommodated in the sheet accommodating section when the sheet stopper member is positioned and held at the locking position, and restricts the sheet from moving through the gap to the sheet separating section. When the sheet is positioned and held at the standby position, the contact with the sheet is released and the sheet is allowed to move from the gap to the sheet separating section, so that the sheet can be smoothly moved without being scratched. It can be fed one by one.
