Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed small-sized recording paper by use of a paper feed cassette by providing a spring member adapted to check the operation of a lifting lever of a cassette mount portion an lift up recording paper toward a paper feed unit in a paper feed cassette. CONSTITUTION:A paper feed cassette 30 for small-sized recording paper is provided with a window piercing the base portion of a frame 31, which is closed and with a coiled spring 35 as a spring member, which is disposed in a space with a receive plate 32. When the paper feed cassette 30 is mounted on a copy apparatus 40, the forward end portion of a lifting lever 41 is pressed by the base of the frame 31 to check the operation of the lifting lever 41, and recording paper P on the receive plate 32 is brought into contact with the lower surface of a feed roller 42 by action of the coiled spring 35. Accordingly, small-sized recording paper can be automatically fed by use of a paper feed cassette.

Image recording devices used for office purposes often make continuous copies of originals of the same size. A method is used in which the paper is stored in a paper cassette and installed in the apparatus, and then transported and supplied from the paper feed cassette for single sheets in accordance with the copying process. Once installed, the paper feed cassette is extremely convenient because it can automatically feed recording paper one sheet at a time in conjunction with the operation of the recording device, and it also provides quick supply that corresponds to the copy cycle. It is extremely efficient and is widely used.

The paper feeding power center is installed by inserting a part of it into a recording device and locking it, and it also allows for a large number of recording devices to be installed. In the apparatus, the stored recording sheets are pressed against a delivery roller by a lifting lever provided on the recording apparatus side, and are delivered one by one through the rotation of the delivery roller. FIG. 4 shows a side cross-sectional view of the paper feed cassette 10 in that state, where it is set in the cassette loading section of the recording device 20, and the lifter rotates counterclockwise about the pongee 21a as a fulcrum. The tip of the lever 21 is the paper feed cassette 1
It acts on the receiving plate 12 inside through the window 11a on the bottom surface of the frame 11 of No. 0, and the receiving plate 12 is rotated and lifted counterclockwise about its end 12a as a fulcrum. As a result, the top surface of the recording paper P stacked on the receiving plate 12 is pressed against the feed roller 222, which is the paper feeding unit on the side of the recording paper front 20, and the feed roller 222 is pressed against the feed roller 222, which is the paper feeding unit on the side of the recording paper front 20. Due to the counterclockwise rotation of , and the action of the scraping pawl 14, the recording sheets P are carried out one by one from the uppermost position and are conveyed into the recording apparatus 20. For this purpose, in order to receive the pressure contact force of the lift lever in a well-balanced manner, the lift lever is generally arranged so as to be located at the center of the width of the paper feed cassette for large size paper feed cassettes, for example, BAtl. ing. Therefore, in a recording device that transports and transfers recording paper of each size with one side referenced, the center position of the width is offset depending on the size of the loaded recording paper, so recording paper of extremely small size, for example 86-1411, is used. In this case, the action of the lifting lever becomes extremely unbalanced or even impossible! (There were cases where the +1 ability could not be demonstrated.) As a result of this invention, the present invention has solved this problem and improved it. The purpose of this paper feed cassette is to provide a paper feed cassette that can provide a well-balanced pressure contact action against the feed roller in the same way as for large-sized recording paper. The copying machine is equipped with a lifting lever in the mounting section that lifts the recording paper in the paper feed cassette toward the paper feeding unit. This is achieved by a paper feed cassette characterized by being provided with a spring member that lifts the paper toward the paper feed unit. [Embodiment] An embodiment of the present invention is shown in Figs. 1 to 3. FIG. 1 shows a cross section of a paper feed cassette 30 according to the present invention.
The figure shows the plane. The paper feed cassette 3
0 uses a frame 31 of the same size as a paper feed cassette into which large-sized recording paper is loaded, and inside it,
A pair of reference plates 33 are arranged at positions biased to one side,
A receiving plate 32 for small-sized recording paper P that can be rotated about an end 32a as a fulcrum is provided inside thereof. Further, on the outside of each of the reference plates 33, there are judgment claws 34.
However, there is also a rear end stopper 3 of the recording paper P on the receiving plate 32.
6 is provided, and the recording paper P placed on the receiving plate 32 has its both side edges held by the reference plate 33, its rear side edge held by the rear end stopper 36, and the corner of its front side held by the side edge. The upper surface of the raised portion 34a of the claw 34 is further regulated by the claw portion 34b, so that it can be maintained at a position where it can be carried out. The bottom surface of the frame 31 used in the paper feeding power cellar) 30 does not have a penetrating window as seen in large-sized paper feeding cassettes, and is closed slowly. For example, the illustrated coil spring 35 is used as a spring member between the
is provided, and even when the paper feed cassette 30 is not installed in the copying machine and is in a stand-alone state, a force is applied to the receiving plate 32 to rotate it counterclockwise about its end 32a as a fulcrum. As a result, the uppermost surface of the recording paper P loaded on the receiving plate 32 rotates in the counterclockwise direction using the cutting claw 34 about the pongee 34c as a fulcrum. The recording paper P is tilted to an angle at which it comes into contact with a bin 33a fixed to a reference plate 33. The coil spring 35 is provided at one location on the center line of the width of the receiving plate 32 or at two locations symmetrical to the center line, but in either case, as shown in the figure (frame 3
It is desirable that both ends thereof engage with the circular pedestals 31a and 32b provided on the receiving plate 1 and the receiving plate 32, respectively, so that the actuating member relative to the receiving plate 32 does not move. FIG. 3 shows the paper feed cassette 30 installed in the copying machine 40. As shown in FIG. The paper feed cassette 30 is inserted horizontally from the direction of the arrow into the paper feed gutter mounting portion of the copying device 40. The lifting lever 41, which was kept at an angle biased counterclockwise in order to act on the paper feed cassette 30, has its tip pressed down by the bottom surface of the frame 31 of the paper feed cassette 30. Tsumugi 41. The support 5 is forcibly rotated and retracted clockwise using support 5, and then the front edge of the stored recording paper P passes through the feed roller 42, which constitutes a part of the paper feed unit on the copying machine 40 side. As a result of the contact with the lower surface, the receiving plate 32 rotates slightly clockwise against the elasticity of the fill spring 35, and the uppermost surface of the recording paper P comes into contact with the feed roller 42 with a predetermined pressing force. placed. In this case, the separating claw 34 also follows the uppermost surface of the recording paper P due to its own weight, and maintains the restricted state between the front corner of the recording paper P and the upper surface as in the case where the paper feed cassette 30 is provided alone. It is supposed to be done. From this state, when the feed roller 42, which is the paper feeding unit, starts to rotate counterclockwise at the start of IIH of copying, the frictional force of the circumferential surface of the feed roller 42 and the pressing action of the claw portion 34b of the separating claw 34 are applied. The uppermost recording paper P is separated and carried out, and then sent to the sorting belt 43 that constitutes a part of the paper feeding unit together with the feed roller 42, and after undergoing another V sorting action, is sent one by one to the image transfer section. It will be transported. Effects of the Invention According to the present invention, even in a copying apparatus that uses one side of the recording paper as a reference and feeds the paper by biasing a built-in lifting lever, it is possible to use small-sized recording paper as well as in the case of large-sized recording paper. It is possible to efficiently make large quantities of copies even with small-sized recording paper. It became so.
