の箱体内に納められた、マイクロ波で厨芥を焼却
減量処理する厨芥処理装置で、次の構成となつて
いる。すなわち、マイクロ波共振体とした箱形の
燃焼炉6の内底部にマイクロ波で発熱する点火器
7aを設けた厨芥の処理容器7を配置している。
また燃焼炉6の一側面に生ゴミ8の投入口9が設
けられ、この投入口9は開閉自在な蓋10により
開閉される。燃焼炉6の他の側面には供給口11
を設け、この供給口11に臨ませて燃焼炉6内に
マイクロ波を送り込むマイクロ波発生装置12を
取付けている。12aはマイクロ波発生装置12
の冷却フアンモータである。燃焼炉6の底部には
給気口13を設け、ガラリ部13aから燃焼に必
要な空気を供給する。燃焼炉6の上部には生ごみ
の燃焼により発生する排ガスの排気口14を設
け、この排気口14は煙道14aを介して排気送
風機15に接続されている。一方排気送風機15
は前記吸気口3とも接続されており、また天板2
の下方の箱体内に設けた開口部16にも接続され
ている。17は天板2の下方の箱体に設けた室内
の空気を導入する導入口である。一般にコンロを
使用する場合と厨芥処理装置5を使用する場合で
は必要排気風量が異なるため、排気送風機15
は、風量調整の仕様となつている。

を通つて排気送風機15により戸外へ排出され
る。また厨芥処理装置5の運転中に発生する熱や
わずかな臭いは、導入口17から開口部16を介
して排気送風機15によつて戸外へ排出される気
流により十分冷却され、また戸外へ排出されるも
のである。
