[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic containing an extract of A. spp., and more particularly to a hair cosmetic for preventing dandruff. [Prior Art] Generally, dandruff consists of secretions from sebaceous glands, secretions from sweat glands, exfoliated substances from the surface cortical layer, etc., and is usually caused by increased secretion of sebaceous glands, etc. In particular, it is said that when bacteria or yeast infect the skin, the development of dandruff is pathologically promoted. For this reason, hair cosmetics to which antibacterial agents or bactericidal agents have been added have traditionally been used as anti-dandruff cosmetics. However, some antibacterial agents and bactericidal agents have problems such as skin irritation and stability for the human body, and cosmetics containing antibacterial agents and bactericidal agents can be used daily to reduce the risk of microorganisms on the skin. It has been pointed out that from an ecological perspective, it sometimes causes undesirable situations, such as disrupting the natural balance. Therefore, there has been a widespread demand for preventing the occurrence of dandruff without using such antibacterial and bactericidal agents, and the industry has also developed a method that has antibacterial and bactericidal properties that have an effective dandruff control effect. The search for safe materials has been carried out. Until now, substances that have anti-dandruff effects that are not based on antibacterial or bactericidal properties include α-tocopherol vitamin A acid ester (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 73137/1982) and vitamin E nicotinic acid ester (German patent No. 73137). 2301585 and 2301660) have been reported. [Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, these esters of vitamin E (namely, tocopherol) lack stability on the skin, and cannot be expected to have a sustained effect of suppressing dandruff. Furthermore, the above-mentioned vitamin E esters are insoluble in water and have the disadvantage of forming oily precipitates depending on the form of the cosmetic product. Furthermore, a large amount of surfactant is required to add the required amount of the substance, and furthermore, the substance has the disadvantage of being expensive. In order to overcome these conventional drawbacks, the present inventor investigated the anti-dandruff effects of a wide variety of substances, and as a result, discovered that extracts of Spermia sinensis are extremely useful. [Means for Solving the Problems] That is, the present invention provides a hair cosmetic, in particular, a hair cosmetic for preventing dandruff, which contains an extract of C. chinensis. Rumex japonicus Houttuyn, which can be used in the present invention, is a plant belonging to the Polygonaceae family and has the scientific name Rumex japonicus Houttuyn.
This includes plants that are botanically related to this. The extract used in the present invention is obtained by cutting the whole plant of the snail (preferably the roots of the swamp) into pieces or using the raw material as a raw material, and using a solvent such as a lower alcohol such as methanol or ethanol, or a lower alcohol such as diethyl ether or tetrahydrofuran. It can be obtained by extraction with organic solvents such as ether, halogenated hydrocarbons such as dichloroethane and ethylene chloride, and aromatic hydrocarbons such as benzene and toluene.
A yellow needle-like crystal substance obtained by distilling off the solvent from the extract and purifying the obtained extract by methods such as alkali treatment, chromatography, and recrystallization can also be used as the squeaky extract in the present invention. . A more specific example of the method for extracting this extract is as follows. Cut 5.0 kg of the root of the snail into small pieces and cold soak it in dichloromethane overnight. This extract was concentrated, treated with a 5% aqueous sodium hydroxide solution to remove the acidic part, which was subjected to silica gel column chromatography, and the chloroform eluate was concentrated and recrystallized to give 0.53 g of yellow crystals. Obtainable. The thus obtained Kishigish extract was soluble in benzene, acetone, and methanol, but insoluble in water. The dry solid content of the staghorn extract is 0.005 to 10% by weight, preferably 0.01 to 10% by weight, in the total hair cosmetic composition. If it is less than 0.005% by weight, the anti-dandruff effect tends to be poor;
No significant increase in effectiveness is observed even if the amount exceeds the weight percentage. The hair cosmetics of the present invention broadly refer to those applied to the hair or scalp, such as hair tonics, hair liquids, scalp emulsions, hair creams, etc.
Includes hair shampoo, hair rinse, hair spray, etc. The hair cosmetic composition of the present invention is safe even when applied to a person's head, unlike conventional cosmetic compositions containing antibacterial agents or bactericidal agents. Furthermore, it is cheaper than the vitamin E esters mentioned above, and also has excellent stability on the skin. Next, the anti-dandruff effect of the hair cosmetic according to the present invention will be explained using test examples. Dandruff preventive effect test example Hair tonics were manufactured in a conventional manner based on the formulations shown in Table 1, and the dandruff preventive effect was measured. The test was conducted on 15 men between the ages of 22 and 50 who had a relatively large amount of dandruff. Before the start of the test, the hair was washed with a chemical-free shampoo, and then the hair was styled with a chemical-free hair tonic.
Dandruff accumulated during the day was collected twice a week for one month, and the amount of protein in the collected dandruff was measured (control period). The panel was then divided into 5 groups of 3 people each, and the participants were asked to use a drug-free shampoo and a hair tonic containing extract of Polygonaceae spp. for one month. In the same manner as in the control period, accumulated dandruff was collected twice a week for two days after hair washing, and protein was measured (sample period). The hair tonic is to be used once a day, and the average dandruff protein amount in the control period is compared with the average dandruff protein amount in the sample period, and if the reduction rate of dandruff is 50% or more...A 40% or more, 50 If it is less than 20%...B If it is 20% or more and less than 40%...C If it is less than 20%...It is ranked as D. The results are shown in Table 1. As is clear from Table 1, the hair cosmetic of the present invention has an excellent anti-dandruff effect.
