In this multi-story parking lot, rollers are provided on the elevator and the trolley, and vehicles are moved by sliding motion on the rollers. In this parking lot, vehicles can be brought in and out by unmanned operation. In addition, the height of the parking floor may be commensurate with the height of the vehicle, and there is no need for a passage for the driver. Of course, there is no need for a path for vehicles to reach the parking floor. As a result, a large number of vehicles can be parked in a narrow space.

However, when driving at high speeds, there is a risk that the vehicle may sway from the trolley. Therefore, the inventor thought about car stoppers and came up with this idea.

Torque then acts around the point of contact between the car stop and the tire. This torque is generated by the force from the rollers, and the center of rotation is at the point of contact with the wheel stop. This torque causes the vehicle to twist,
There is a risk that the vehicle will overturn.

A car stop is provided with a large number of rotating wheels, and the rotating wheels are brought into contact with the tires. In this way, twisting during the movement of the vehicle is eliminated by the rotating wheels, and sideways wobbling of the vehicle can be eliminated.

The elevator 02 is used to transport vehicles between an entry/exit floor (not shown) and a parking floor. The trolley 2 is provided with a motor and wheels, and runs on a rail 04 arranged on the parking floor. Power rollers 4 for skidding are arranged between the trolley 2 and the elevator 02, and the rollers 4 cause the vehicle to skid and move between them. Reference numeral 6 denotes a wheel stopper, which is installed at a position where it contacts the tires of the vehicle. car stop 6
Although it may be provided on either the front wheel or the rear wheel, it is provided on the front wheel because it is easier to determine the position of the tire. A car stopper 6 is provided with a large number of rotating wheels 8, and the rotating wheels 8 are brought into contact with the tires. Further, a large number of rotating wheels 8 are arranged in parallel on the car stop 6 along the direction in which the vehicle tires are conveyed by the rollers 4, and are arranged so as to rotate in contact with the vehicle tires. The rotating wheel 8 allows the contact surface with the tire of the vehicle to rotate in the same direction as the moving direction of the tire on the roller 4. Numeral 10 is a hydraulic mechanism for moving the car stopper 6 back and forth, and 12 is a guide for preventing the vehicle from falling off, which may not be provided. Also 13
is a position sensor, which is used to detect the position when moving the vehicle between the elevator and the trolley.

is supported by rollers 4. A car stopper 6 is placed on both sides of the tire 08 (here, the front wheel), and the rotating wheel 8 touches the tire 08. FIG. 4 shows a plan view of the car stop 6. The surface of the car stopper 6 is inclined so as to be in contact with the tire 08,
Also, a large number of rotating wheels 8 are arranged on the surface.

Each pallet 010 is provided with a roller 4, and the vehicle is moved by the power of the roller 4. The vehicle is then transported to a parking floor 06 by an elevator 02, and transported within the floor by a trolley 2. The transported vehicle is mounted on a pallet 010 and parked.

合、前記の動作を逆の順で行わせる。 The operation of the trolley 2 and the multi-story parking lot will be explained. An elevator 02 carrying a vehicle ascends and descends to a parking floor 06, the vehicle is caused to skid by the power of rollers 4, and then transferred to a trolley 2. At this time, when the sensor 13 detects a vehicle, the bollard 6 moves forward and stops at a position where it contacts the tire 08. Here, if the wheel stopper 6 does not have a rotating wheel 8, torque acts around the contact position between the wheel stopper 6 and the tire 08. This situation is shown in FIG. That is, the force F from the roller 4 acts on each tire 08,
This force may cause the vehicle to overturn. Here, the rotating wheels 8 cause the vehicle to slide smoothly along the car stop 6, thereby preventing the vehicle from sliding sideways. When the movement of the vehicle is completed, the trolley 2 travels at high speed on the rails 04, stops in front of the pallet 010, and uses rollers 4 to transfer the vehicle to the pallet. In the case of leaving the warehouse, the above operations are performed in the reverse order.

せるにとどめても良い。 Note that since the elevator 02 only moves up and down, the force acting on the vehicle is small and there is no need to provide a car stop 6. Of course, pallet 010 does not require a car stop. Furthermore, in the embodiment, a vehicle is transferred from truck 2 to pallet 010, but
The pallet 010 may not be provided and the cart may be simply circulated within the floor.
