施工途中に雨が降つたとき裏面側の外周に第3図

工した後でも暴露部の裏面側の外周に第4図a,
bに示すように水が浸入する。そして雨上がり後
晴天に変化すると窯業系屋根材A′の反りは加速

[考案の開示]

するとともに、こん防水シール塗膜の屋根材本体
端部寄り部分を厚肉としていることに特徴を有し
て、このように構成することにより従来例の欠点
を解決したものである。つまり屋根材本体1にお
ける少なくとも表面の暴露部に対応する裏面の周
縁に防水シール塗膜3を塗布したことにより、屋
根材本体1の裏面の周縁に雨水が浸入するのを防
止するとともに、防止シート塗膜3の屋根材本体
1端部寄り部分を厚肉とすることで、毛細管現象
による雨水浸入も防止できて吸水による反りを抑

としてはアクリルスチレン系塗料、ウレタン系塗
料、エポキシ系塗料等がある。本実施例の場合防
水シール塗膜3は周縁の厚さが厚くその他の部分
は薄い。防水シール塗膜3の周縁の厚層部3aは
厚さが30〜50μ程度で幅は30〜70mmであり、薄層
部3bは厚さが5μ程度である。防水シール塗膜
3の形成は例えば先に第2図aに示すように薄層
部3bを全面に塗布し、後で第3図bに示すよう
に周縁の裏面に厚層部3aを塗装により形成す
る。なお防水シール塗膜3は上記のように全面に
亘つて塗布しなくても、周縁だけでもよく、また
周縁全周でなくても少なくとも周縁のうち前端の

を防止できて吸水による反りを抑えることができ
るものであり、しかも裏面の周縁に雨水が浸入し
ないので吸い上げ(呼び込み)により雨水が漏れ
る危険を少なくできるものであり、また吸水しに
くいので吸水凍結による凍害も受けにくいもので
あり、さらに施工暴露中の経時によるクラツク
[吸水・乾燥の繰り返しによるストレスで生じる
ものであり、特に屋根材本体の耐抗張力(耐クラ
ツク性)の弱い脱アスベスト品は前端部よりクラ
ツクが走りやすい]を防止できるものであり、さ
らに重ね合わせて接続して葺かれたとき防水シー
ル塗膜にて重ね合わせ部のシール性を上げること
ができるものであり、加えるに、防水シール塗膜
は屋根材本体端部寄り部分が厚肉となつているこ
とから、単に吸水による反りを抑えることができ
るだけでなく、毛細管現象を断ち切ることができ
て、屋根材の裏面中央部に防水シール塗膜を施し

材との当接部分を厚く保護することができるもの
