【考案の詳細な説明】 [産業上の利用分野] 本考案は自動車のドアあるいはフエンダー等に
装着される車両用ミラー装置に関するものであつ
て、特に走行中にそのハウジング又は該ハウジン
グのベース部外面に設けたビス締め穴、水抜き穴
等で生ずる風切音を防止することを目的とする車
両用ミラー装置に関する。

はミラーハウジングで、その内部にはミラーガラ
ス2を収容するスペースが形成されている。前記
ミラーハウジング1の少なくとも下壁には、流水
放出用の水抜き穴又はミラーユニツト取付用ビス
の締め付け調整穴3が1個又は複数個設けられて
いる。そしてこの穴部3の近傍でかつその穴部よ
り少なくとも車両前方側の位置に、該穴の下面よ
りも外側に突出する突出部4を設ける。この突出
部4は第2図の如く車両前方側より後方側に向つ
て膨らみ(肉厚)が大きくなり、かつなだらかな
流線形の傾斜外面をもつ堰の如く形成されてい
る。なお、この堰状突出部4は正面から見て穴部
3の外周前方側に半月状に形成されている(第3
図参照)。

差を生ずるようなことがなくなり、空気の吸い出
しによる風切音を防止することができる。

なり、従つて空気の吸い出しによる風切音の発生
を防止することができ、しかも従来のように穴径
を小さくしたり、特別な部品で穴を塞ぐなどの手
法を採ることがないので、水切れを阻害したり、
特別の部品を用意してコストアツプを招くことが
ないなど優れた効果を有する。
