Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject conjugate yarn having modified crosssection, effective in preventing see-through and giving a woven or knit fabric having high performance by using a copolymerized polyester as a main component accounting for a specific fraction in the cross-sectional area and forming the apices of the cross-section with a subsidiary polyester component free from delustering agent. CONSTITUTION:The main component 1 of the objective conjugate yarn is composed of a polyester copolymer copolymerized with 2-20mol% of a third copolymer component capable of imparting high-shrinkage (e.g. isophthalic acid) and containing 1.2-10.0wt.% of a delustering agent (e.g. titanium oxide) and the subsidiary component 2 constituting the apices of the cross-section is composed of a polyester copolymerized with 3mol% of 5-sodium sulfoisophthalate, free from delustering agent and soluble in alkaline solution. These components are melt-spun through the same spinneret having a Y-shaped nozzle using a conjugate spinning machine to form 70-95% of the cross-sectional area with the main component 1 and form the apices of the modified cross-section with the subsidiary component 2. The objective copolymerized polyester produced by this process is effective in preventing see-through and useful as a combined filament yarn having shrinkage difference and giving a woven or knit fabric having high performance.

2. Description of the Related Art Currently, polyester fibers are widely used for clothing because of their easy-care properties. Among the applications for clothing, particularly in the field of thin clothing, it is essential to control light transmission, that is, to prevent so-called see-through. For this purpose, polyester fibers containing a matting agent such as titanium oxide as a light shielding agent have been widely used successfully for thin clothing. Also, particles such as titanium oxide not only act as a light shielding agent in the fiber,
It also has the effect of eliminating the slimy feeling peculiar to synthetic fibers from the final product, woven and knitted goods, and giving it a dry and dry touch and a milky luster. This is because the matting agent in the fiber diffusely reflects light, and the matting agent near the fiber surface falls off due to the alkaline reduction treatment that is usually performed when manufacturing polyester woven or knitted fabric, and fine irregularities appear on the surface of the fiber. It is thought to be for doing. However, with the rise of consumer awareness of clothing, woven and knitted fabrics that are only satisfying these characteristics are becoming obsolete, and diversification,
Disadvantages that cannot be dealt with upscale have been highlighted. In particular, these woven and knitted fabrics could not be imparted with a texture such as swelling and softness.

On the other hand, a woven or knitted product using polyester shrinkage differential mixed yarn is regarded as important because it can impart bulge, soft feeling and drape property at the same time, and as a technique relating to this, Japanese Patent Publication No. 55-22586. JP-A-58-120816 and the like. These shrink-contrast mixed yarns are intended for silky-woven and knitted goods, and since gloss like silk is indispensable, matting agents such as titanium oxide are not contained at all or only a slight amount is contained. It was customary to use polyesters containing Therefore, it was naturally inferior in terms of preventing the see-through. As a method for solving this problem, a technique in which a matting agent is contained in all the fiber groups constituting the differential shrinkage mixed yarn is disclosed in JP-A-3-59130 and JP-A-3-64543.

On the other hand, as a method for producing a differential shrinkage mixed yarn, a high shrinkage yarn made of a copolyester and a low shrinkage yarn made of a non-copolymerized polyester are simultaneously spun at the time of spinning to obtain a high shrinkage yarn and a low shrinkage yarn. From the viewpoint of productivity, a spinning and mixing fiber method in which the undrawn yarn is wound as a mixed undrawn yarn and then the undrawn yarn is drawn is most advantageous in terms of productivity. According to this production method,
When it is attempted to produce a shrinkage-differential mixed yarn as disclosed in JP-A-59130 and JP-A-3-64543, it is necessary to add a matting agent such as titanium oxide to the copolyester or polyester. .. However, when spinning a polymer containing a large amount of a matting agent such as titanium oxide in polyester, especially copolyester, the titanium oxide etc. contained as a matting agent is deposited around the discharge hole of the spinneret and the spinnability is improved. There is a problem that significantly deteriorates. Therefore, it has been impossible to stably produce a shrinkage difference mixed filament yarn which has a high added value when it is formed into a woven or knitted fabric by preventing sheer and having a milky luster, dry touch, drape, swelling and softness. ..

The present invention will be described in detail below. In the present invention, the copolymerizable third component capable of imparting high shrinkability is a normal polyester yarn obtained by producing a copolymerized polyester by copolymerizing the third component in polyester to obtain a copolymerized polyester. It means a compound showing a higher boiling water shrinkage (hereinafter referred to as boiling point). Specific examples of the third component include dicarboxylic acids such as oxalic acid, sebacic acid, phthalic acid and isophthalic acid, glycols such as diethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol and neopentyl glycol, and bisphenol A and bisphenol sulfone. Further, those obtained by simultaneously copolymerizing two or more kinds of the third copolymerized components are also included in the copolymerized polyester of the present invention. From the viewpoint of price and operability, it is preferable to use isophthalic acid or bisphenol A. The copolymerized polyester referred to here is preferably a copolymerized polyethylene terephthalate based on polyethylene terephthalate.

However, it is necessary that the third component of the copolymer is contained in an amount of 2 mol% or more. When the content of the third copolymer component is less than 2 mol%, the difference in shrinkage is too small to form a paper-like woven or knitted fabric even when a difference in shrinkage mixed fiber is made using the high shrinkage yarn obtained from the copolymerized polyester. As a result, the high added value that is the object of the present invention cannot be added. Further, when the content of the third copolymer component is 5 mol% or more, the difference in shrinkage of the mixed yarn can be sufficiently imparted, and a higher bulge can be obtained, which is preferable. When the content of the third copolymerization component exceeds 20 mol%, the shrinkage ratio of the high shrinkage yarn is too high and the woven or knitted fabric has a feeling of coarse and hard, and the object of the present invention cannot be achieved.

Further, in the present invention, the copolyester must contain a matting agent in an amount of 1.2% by weight or more and 10.0% by weight or less. Matting agent content is 1.
If the amount is less than 2% by weight, the dry touch feeling of the woven or knitted material is insufficient, and the high added value intended by the present invention cannot be imparted.
When the content of the matting agent is 1.4% by weight or more, the dry touch feeling of the woven or knitted material is further improved, which is preferable. On the other hand, if the content of the matting agent exceeds 10.0% by weight, the filter material becomes significantly clogged during spinning, which makes stable spinning for a long period of time difficult. Further, it is preferable that the content of the matting agent in the copolyester is 4.0% by weight or less, since the yarn strength hardly decreases.

In order to obtain a high-value-added shrink-contrast mixed yarn having a milky luster, which is the object of the present invention, the high-shrink yarn made of the copolyester needs to have an irregular cross-sectional shape. It is particularly necessary to have an atypical cross-section composite shape for the reason described below.

When a copolymerized polyester containing less than or equal to wt% is spun as a modified cross-section yarn, the matting agent is deposited around the discharge hole of the spinneret, and stable spinning is difficult. And
It was found that the portion where the matting agent deposits concentrates on the apex portion of the irregular cross-section discharge hole.

Therefore, in the present invention, it is necessary to carry out spinning into a composite shape of atypical cross section in which the apexes of the atypical cross section are mainly composed of the copolyester and a subcomponent which does not substantially contain the matting agent. By making the cross-section of the high-shrinkage yarn have the above-mentioned shape, the secondary component prevents the matting agent from depositing around the discharge holes, so that stable spinning can be performed for a long time.

Here, the main component is required to occupy an area fraction of 70% or more and 95% or less in a cross section. When the content of the main component is less than 70%, the dry touch feeling is insufficient, and thus it is out of the scope of the present invention. Further, the apex portion of the irregular cross section is a point at which the distance from the center of gravity of the cross section becomes maximum in each convex portion. The term "substantially containing no matting agent" means that the content of the matting agent is less than 0.2%.

As shown in FIG. 3, the object of the present invention can be achieved even if the polyester as the subcomponent 2 is a so-called core-sheath type composite triangular cross-section yarn that wraps the outside of the copolyester as the main component 1 entirely. However, the composite yarn shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 in which 50% or more of the outer periphery of the cross section is occupied by the copolyester having the main component 1 is more preferable. This is because the main component surface becomes fine irregularities due to a large amount of the matting agent after the secondary components are dissolved and removed by the alkali weight reduction treatment which is usually performed in the weaving process, etc., and thus the main component is exposed on the surface. This is because if the proportion is 50% or more, a delicate dry touch texture is further promoted.

Further, it is preferable that the subcomponent is a polyester which is easily soluble in an alkaline solution, because the same effect can be obtained. Here, “having easy solubility” means having a dissolution rate that is at least twice as high as that of the other composite main component. As the subcomponent that is easily soluble in the alkaline solution, since the other main component of the composite is polyester, it is preferable to use the easily soluble alkali polyester in order to maintain the affinity of the composite interface. When an alkali-soluble polyester is used as the accessory component, the area fraction (y%) in the cross-sectional area of the accessory component
It is preferable to combine so as to satisfy the following formula between the mole fraction (P%) of the copolymerization third component of the main component. P ≧ 0.5 × y …………………………………… This is because the secondary component, alkali-soluble polyester, is in the highly shrinkable yarn and reduces the shrinkage rate. Since it works in the direction, it is preferable to increase the mole fraction of the copolymerization third component by that amount in order to maintain the shrinkage rate of the highly shrinkable yarn.

The highly shrinkable yarn obtained by the method of the present invention is
By mixing with a low shrinkage yarn composed of another component, a shrinkage difference mixed yarn having a high added value can be obtained. In this case, the polyester forming the low shrinkage yarn is also provided with a delusterant 1.
A modified cross-sectional shape containing 2% by weight or more and 10.0% by weight or less is preferable because it has a higher commercial value.
When the difference in shrinkage of the mixed yarn occurs, the low shrinkage yarn comes to be located outside the high shrinkage yarn, so that it greatly contributes to the texture in the woven or knitted fabric. It is preferable to add a matting agent in an amount of 0.4% by weight or more. Further, when the content of the matting agent in the low shrinkage yarn is 5.0% by weight or less, the strength of the yarn is hardly reduced, which is preferable. Furthermore, like the high shrinkage yarn, the low shrinkage yarn is preferably a composite yarn having an irregular cross section because the operability is improved. This is considered to be due to the deposition of the matting agent similar to that of the copolyester of the high shrinkage yarn, although it is slight in the polyester of the low shrinkage yarn.

As a characteristic of the shrinkage difference-mixed yarn of the present invention, it is preferable that the difference in boiling point between the high shrinkage yarn and the low shrinkage yarn is 5% or more because a high bulge can be obtained. In addition, the high shrinkage yarn single yarn fineness (m denier) and the low shrinkage yarn single yarn fineness (n denier)
Preferably satisfies 1 ≦ m / n ≦ 4. Especially 1.2 ≦ m
If / n, the high shrinkage yarn that is the core of the woven or knitted product is thick,
Since the low-shrinkage yarns located on the surface of the woven or knitted product become thin, a delicate touch and a high level of texture such as elasticity and stiffness can be obtained, which is preferable. However, when m / n exceeds 4, talumi is likely to occur on the surface of the mixed fiber during drawing, which is not preferable.

The effect of the present invention is most effectively exhibited by spinning the copolyester forming the high shrinkage yarn of the present invention from the same spinneret as the polyester forming the other low shrinkage yarn. It is preferable to employ the mixed fiber method because it can have particularly high productivity.

The thus-obtained chips are used in a three-component composite spinning machine and the same spinneret having Y-shaped discharge holes to produce low shrinkage yarns into chips A and C and high shrinkage yarns into chip B. And C, respectively, and compounded in the shape shown in FIG. 1 (chips A and B are main components of each yarn, chip C is a common subcomponent: area fraction of main component 85%), and spinning temperature 290 An undrawn yarn was obtained by mixing fibers at a spinning temperature of 1000 m / min. Furthermore, this undrawn yarn is drawn at a drawing speed of 600 m.

[Table 1] Since the dry touch feeling is insufficient at level No. 1,
It cannot be the subject technology of the present invention. This is because the amount of titanium oxide in the high shrink yarn is too small. Level No. 2 to Level No. 4 are examples of the present invention, and a good feeling is obtained. However, in the woven fabric of level No. 4, a slight decrease in tear strength, which is considered to be due to a decrease in strength of the differential shrinkage mixed fiber, was observed. The level No. 5 is good in the texture shown in Table 1, but the tear strength of the woven fabric is low, and the texture is lowered due to a large number of fluffs generated during weaving, resulting in no commercial value. I got it.

[Table 2] The operability was good in the level No. 6 to the level No. 8, but in the level No. 9, the yarn was frequently broken about 10 hours after the start of spinning and the spinning could not be carried out, so that the following evaluation was stopped. At the level No. 6, the dry touch feeling is insufficient, so that it cannot be the target technology of the present invention. The level No. 7 and the level No. 8 are examples of the present invention, and a good feeling is obtained. In particular, the level No. 8 had a high bulge.

Comparative Example 1 Using a tip A shown in Level No. 2 for a low shrinkage yarn and a tip B for a high shrinkage yarn, and using a two-component composite spinning machine, a Y-shaped discharge hole is provided. Each component was simultaneously discharged independently from the same spinneret, and spinning was attempted according to the method of Example 1 below. However, after about 5 hours from the start of spinning, yarn breakage occurred frequently and the yarn could not be produced, and the following evaluation was stopped. When the condition of the spinneret after the completion of spinning was confirmed, titanium oxide was found to be deposited at the apex of the Y-shaped discharge holes discharged by the high shrink yarn tip B.
