ほぼ中央には、下向きの空間部9がプレス成型もしくは
ロール成型により形成されている。

イプをつぶしたものと違って、加工性が良くなり、また
ボルト,ナットなどによる端部の断面凹形状取付部にお
ける取り付けが、丸パイプの場合と違って確実堅固であ
り、作業性も極めて良くなるものであり、コスト低廉と
なるなどの種々の実用的効果がある。また、前記取付用
長孔は、水抜き用の孔としても兼用される効果がある。
