When a ship is constructed using such a construction dock, the bow, the cargo hold (the center of the hull),
In general, split construction is performed by dividing into the stern and the stern, but in order to improve the construction efficiency, the stern (engine room), which requires a long construction period, precedes the bow and cargo hold. It is built. On the other hand, the maintenance and inspection work of repair ships has the characteristic that the construction period is relatively short.Furthermore, offshore structures such as offshore work tables used for oil drilling are wide structures and docks of normal width. Since it could not be housed inside and the construction period was long, it was necessary to use a special construction dock.

Further, as shown in FIG. 2, an intermediate gate 6 is also arranged at the connecting portion between the elongated dock 1 and the pocket dock 3. And pocket dock 3
A wide second opening / closing gate 7 is arranged at the other end of the. In the ship building dock, when repair ship construction and ship building are performed at the same time, first, the intermediate gates 4 and 5 are arranged to form the repair dock 8 and the cargo hold dock 9, and the cargo hold dock 9 is formed. The cargo hold block M and the stern block A in the pocket dock 3 are pre-built inside, and the first opening / closing gate 2 is opened to dock the repair ship S in the repair dock 8, and after the construction, 1
From the open / close gate 2 of the dock. At this time, the pocket dock 3 and the slender dock 1 are connected to each other to form an integrated dock 10 in which the preceding construction ship is accommodated.

Then, after this pre-built ship opens the second open / close gate 7 and docks, the intermediate gate 5 is opened and the cargo hold block M and the stern block A are integrated into the dock 10 as indicated by arrow B. The new ship N is constructed by connecting and constructing the bow block F while moving to and connecting. On the other hand, when constructing an offshore structure and a new ship, an intermediate gate 6 is provided between the pocket dock 3 and the elongated dock 1 as shown in FIG.
, The offshore structure H is built in the pocket dock 3, the second opening / closing gate 7 is opened, and the ship is docked. Then, at this time, the cargo hold block M is pre-built at the cargo hold construction dock 9, and the stern block A is pre-built at the integrated dock 10, and then the opening gate 5 is opened to open the cargo hold block M at the integrated dock 10.
After being transferred in and connected, the bow block F is connected and constructed.
