る。この導入口1は図1及び図2に示す通り水平な前方
に通じる上部空気通路2を介して適数の消音管を備えた
吸気サイレンサ3に連通しており、該吸気サイレンサ3
は前記本体Bの前部上方に配設された気化器室4へ供給
する空気の流れを上方から下方向きに生じさせる上下方
向通路5に連通している。この上下方向通路5は前記気
化器室4に浄化された空気を供給するためのフィルター
6の面に沿っており、該フィルター6の下部の前記気化
器室4の下側に下部空気通路7を形成して空気の流れを
冷却ファン室8に通じさせる。この冷却ファン室8は図
3に示すように内燃機関(図示せず)を冷却するファン
9を有し、冷却ファン室8の吸入側に発生する吸入負圧
を利用して気化器室4へ供給する空気の流れを上方から
下方向きに生じさせる。図4は別の実施例を示すもの
で、空気導入口10を本体Bの上部のガイドバー11と
反対側の側方に設けたものである。なお、前記吸気サイ
レンサ3は、気化器室カバー13、フィルター6、気化
器室4、及び各通路2,5,7間のシールを兼ねてい
