Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce noise by respectively forming protrusions having predetermined lengths at upper and lower parts of a stabilizer opposed to a partition plate of a cross flow fan. CONSTITUTION:Protrusions 19, 20 having predetermined lengths are respectively formed at upper and lower parts of a stabilizer 8 opposed to a partition plate 17, etc., for constituting a cross flow fan 12. Accordingly, when the fan 12 is rotated, a gap between the outer periphery of the plate 17 of the fan 12 and a tongue surface 15 of the stabilize 8 disposed near the plate 17 can be intermittently varied. Thus, since a vortex flow generated at the time of rotating the fan 12 can be varied by altering the gap between the plate 17 and the tongue surface 15 of the stabilizer 8, pitch sound of a blase 18 due to the vortex flow can be dispersed. Thus, noise can be reduced without decreasing an air flowing efficiency.

In the indoor unit described above, when the axial fan 26 rotates, the air that has undergone heat exchange by the heat exchanger 25 is blown into the room from the air outlet 22. A part of the wind blown from the axial fan 26 collides with the tongue surface 30 of the stabilizer 31 forming the ceiling side of the air outlet 22 and is sucked into the axial fan 26 again.
A large concentric vortex 33, which is eccentric to the axial fan 26, is formed at the blow-out portion of the axial fan 26. This swirl
When each blade (blade) 28 cuts 33, a pressure fluctuation is generated there and a noise called blade pitch sound is generated. The frequency of this blade pitch sound is an integer multiple of NZ / H, where N is the number of rotations of the fan, Z is the number of blades (blades) 28, and H is the power supply frequency, and it is perceived as a single abnormal sound. Such a blade pitch sound is also related to the size of the gap between the cross flow fan 26 and the tongue surface 30 of the stabilizer 31, and if the gap is increased, the blade pitch sound will be reduced, but there is a problem that the ventilation efficiency will be reduced. There is a problem that if the gap is made smaller, the blast efficiency will increase but the blade pitch noise will also increase. Therefore, it is an object of the present invention to provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner that can obtain a reliable noise reduction effect with a simple shape without lowering the ventilation efficiency.

With the above structure, since the projections having a predetermined length are formed on the upper and lower portions of the stabilizer which face the partition plates constituting the cross-flow fan, the partition of the cross-flow fan is divided when the cross-flow fan is rotated. The gap between the outer peripheral portion of the plate and the tongue surface of the stabilizer adjacent thereto can be changed intermittently. By changing the gap between the two in this way, the vortex flow generated when the cross-flow fan rotates can be deformed, so that the blade pitch sound accompanying the vortex flow can be dispersed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. Figure 1 is an external view of the indoor unit,
The housing 1 is composed of a main body 2 and a front cover 3 that is detachably attached to the main body 2, and a front panel 4 whose upper portion is rotatably supported is attached to the front side of the front cover 3. A suction port 5 for sucking air in the room is provided in the front panel 4 and the upper part of the housing 1, and a blowout port 6 is formed in the lower front part. FIG. 2 simply shows the internal structure of the indoor unit, and an air passage 9 including a rear guider 7 of the main body 2 and a front stabilizer 8 is formed between the suction port 5 and the air outlet 6. Above this air passage 9, a detachable air filter 10 that can be moved to the main body 2 side along the inner surface of the front cover 3, a heat exchanger 11 divided into three parts, and a cross flow fan (cross flow fan). A fan) 12 is arranged, and the air that has undergone heat exchange by the heat exchanger 11 is sent to the outlet 6 by the crossflow fan 12, and the wind direction into the room is adjusted by the wind direction plate 13.
In addition, the upper part of the stabilizer 8 is a drain pan (water receiving pan) 14 for receiving the defrosting water flowing down from the heat exchanger 9, and one side near the cross flow fan 12 is opposed to the cross flow fan 12 and the upper part thereof is provided. A tongue surface 15 folded back is formed.

FIG. 3 shows the relationship between the cross flow fan 12 and the tongue surface 15 of the stabilizer 8. The cross flow fan 12 is a rotary shaft 16 fitted to a rotary shaft of an electric motor (not shown), and a partition plate 17 arranged at a predetermined interval in the axial direction of the rotary shaft 16,
It is composed of a plurality of wings (blades) 18 arranged annularly between the partition plates 17-17, and has a rear guider 7 at the rear and a stabilizer 8 at the front.
It is provided so as to face the tongue surface 15 at a predetermined interval. On the other hand, on the tongue surface 15 of the stabilizer 8, two upper and lower protrusions 19 and 20 respectively facing the partition plate 17 of the cross flow fan 12 are formed at a predetermined interval. These protrusions 19 and 20 are for reducing the blade pitch sound, and have a lateral width of about 20 mm, and the central portion thereof faces the partition plate 17 of the cross flow fan 12.

Further, the heights of the protrusions 19 and 20 from the tongue surface 15 are not uniform, and the height of the upper protrusion 19 is formed to be approximately one half of the height of the lower protrusion 20. Further, the ratio of the upper and lower widths of both of them is formed such that when the upper protrusion 19 is 1, the lower protrusion 20 is approximately 5, that is, approximately five times. In this way, if the protruding heights of both the protrusions 19 and 20 are changed, the gap between the tongue surface 15 of the stabilizer 8 and the side of the cross flow fan 12 will change intermittently when the cross flow fan 12 rotates. The vortex flow generated in the cross flow fan 12 can be deformed. The deformation of the eddy current means that the blade pitch sound is dispersed, and as a result, the noise is reduced.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, in the case of the indoor unit in which the protrusions having different sizes as described above are provided on the tongue surface of the stabilizer facing the cross flow fan, the vortex flow generated when the cross flow fan is rotated is deformed. Therefore, the blade pitch sound generated by the vortex can be dispersed and the noise can be reduced. Moreover, the structure is very simple and inexpensive, and the above-mentioned protrusions are limited to the positions where vortices are likely to occur, so that they are also effective in improving the blowing efficiency.
