FIG. 7 is a cross-sectional view of a conventional vehicle control device. In FIG. 7, reference numeral 1 is a control box housing the control device, and a heat generating component 2 such as a transformer or a reactor in the control device is provided near the vehicle side of the control box 1.
An electric component 3 other than the heat-generating component 2 in the control device is arranged near the center of the control box 1 in the cross-sectional direction of the vehicle. Further, ventilation holes 4 are provided in the lower part and the upper part of the heat-generating component 2 so that air can easily flow around the heat-generating component 2. Reference numeral 8 denotes a floor surface of the vehicle body, on which a beam 10 is provided via a vehicle body underframe 9 provided so as to withstand the weight of the vehicle body and the control box 1 is mounted.
Proper and reliable cooling of the heat generating component 2 is an important issue for ensuring the life and reliability of the (for vehicle) control device. For this reason, the heat generating component 2 is arranged closer to the vehicle side of the control box 1 and the ventilation port 4 is provided so that heat can be easily released to the outside of the vehicle. However, when such a structure is adopted, the heat-generating component 2 also generates noise due to magnetic vibration, so that the noise is easily transmitted to the outside of the vehicle. Further, a part of the heat generated from the heat generating component 2 stays between the beam 10 and the underfloor of the vehicle body and raises the temperature of the upper surface of the control box 1, so that the heat from the heat generating component 2 is less likely to escape to the outside, and There has been a problem that the cooling of No. 2 becomes insufficient or the floor surface 8 of the vehicle body becomes hot, which adversely affects the habitability of the vehicle.

The heat from the heat-generating component 2 is less likely to escape to the outside of the vehicle than in the configuration, and the problems of cooling the heat-generating component 2 and the habitability of the vehicle increase.

Since it is often stored, the same problem as in the case of the configuration of FIG. 8 has occurred.

A beam 10 is provided below the floor surface 8 of the vehicle body through a vehicle body underframe 9, and a control box 1 is mounted on the beam 10. A control device for controlling the vehicle is housed in the control box 1, and a heat-generating component 2 such as a transformer or a reactor in the control device is arranged near the center in the cross-sectional direction of the vehicle.
The electric components 3 other than the heat-generating component 2 are arranged near the vehicle side of the vehicle. On the bottom surface of the control box 1 in which the heat generating component 2 is stored,
A ventilation port 4 is provided so that air can easily flow in from the outside. An opening is provided on the upper surface of the control box 1 above the heat-generating component 2, and an exhaust duct 5 is attached through the opening in the vehicle side direction. As shown in the front view of the vehicle control device shown in FIG. 2, the exhaust duct 5 has a width dimension that extends in the longitudinal direction of the control box 1 so that a cross-sectional area necessary for releasing heat in the control box 1 can be obtained. It is configured to secure.

For this reason, the heat generated from the heat generating component 2 is surely released to the outside of the vehicle through the exhaust duct 5, so that the heat generating component 2 is insufficiently cooled, and the heat generated between the underfloor of the vehicle body and the beam 10 is reduced. It is possible to prevent the department from staying.
