Abstract

PURPOSE:To make passengers in an elevator cage escapable yet more safely by installing a transmitting means for transmitting an output signal out of a fire detecting means at each floor to an elevator controller, and also a control means for controlling an elevator, respectively, and guiding the elevator to any floors other than the floor set on fire when causing a fire. CONSTITUTION:A fire sensitive signal or smoke sensitive signal by means of a contact 1 is inputted into a monitor 2. After inputting the signal, this monitor 2 outputs two signals 3, 4 showing a fire happening floor to an elevator controller 5. In succession, a hall call and a destination floor call in an elevator cage are canceld and any additional register is prohibited. Then the fire happening floor is compared with a return floor. If they are not congruous to each other, an elevator is directly operated to the set return floor, making passengers in the elevator cage escape therefrom, and thereby the elevator is suspended. When they are accord with each other, the return floor is set to a separate floor. Thus utilizing not only action of fire control operation but a signal of the fire happening floor, the elevator is safely guidable for evacuation.

FIG. 1 shows an input structure for detecting in which floor a fire has occurred in the present invention. Reference numeral 1 denotes a contact point of the fire detector or smoke detector, which is turned on when a fire is detected. The fire detection signal or smoke detection signal from the contact 1 is input to the monitoring device 2. The monitoring device 2 inputs a fire detection signal or a smoke detection signal, performs a process described later, and outputs a signal 3 or a signal 4 indicating a fire occurrence floor to the elevator control device 5. Here, the signal 3 is a signal output from the monitoring device 2 when the fire detector or the smoke detector operates, and the signal 4
Is a signal output from the monitoring device 2 when fire detection or smoke detection is manually performed by means not shown. There is also a method of directly inputting the contact points of the sensors on each floor to the control panel, but considering that there is also a manual fire control operation, it is a good method to input it to the control panel through transmission etc. once through the monitoring device. Since it is considered that there is, there is shown the input configuration in that case.

FIG. 2 shows the flow of control from the occurrence of a fire until the control panel takes in the data of the fire occurrence floor to the control calculation unit and returns to a safe floor. Enter the floor on which the fire should occur. (Step 5) Then, the landing call and the car destination floor call are canceled, and additional registration is prohibited. (Step 6)
Then, the evacuation floor set in advance is set as the return floor. (Step 7) The fire floor and the return floor are compared. (Step 8) If they do not match, the elevator is operated directly to the set return floor to evacuate the passengers in the car and suspend the elevator. (Step 9) If they match, the return floor is set to another floor. (Step 10) Step 8 is performed for the changed floor, and depending on the result, sweep 9 or step 10 is performed, and this operation is repeated until it moves to step 9. The present invention is not limited to the operation of the fire control operation of the above-described embodiment, but which floor is a fire for people in the elevator hall or passengers in the car by using the signal of the fire occurrence floor Can be informed early and the evacuation time can be shortened.
