The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing artificial granite. Today, stone is used not only for tombstones but also as construction material, so the demand for it is tight, and stones made in foreign countries are now being imported. In view of the current situation, the present invention aims to manufacture artificial granite at low cost and easily. The present invention is characterized by the effective use of granulated water discharged as a by-product of blast furnaces, and by converting it into white sand (cold water). It is manufactured by mixing stone) and epoxy resin in a certain ratio. Hereinafter, an example of implementing the present invention will be described based on the accompanying drawings. In Figure 1, 1 is molten ore slag discharged as a byproduct of a blast furnace, which is left to cool and crushed to a constant particle size, or poured into water to cool and crushed to a constant particle size, and 2 is white sand (cold water). stone), 3 is epoxy resin mortar. In the present invention, the above-mentioned granulated water 1, white sand 2 (kansuiseki) and epoxy resin mortar 3 are mixed in a ratio of 1 to 4:1 to 1, respectively.
The mixture is placed in a mixer 4 at a ratio of 4:1 to 2 as shown in FIG. 2, and stirred and mixed. Then, in a sufficiently mixed state, the mixture is poured into a mold 6 having a mirror surface 5 made of metal or glass, as shown in FIG. 3, and left for a certain period of time to harden. When it hardens after a certain period of time, it is removed from the mold 6 and an artificial granite product 7 is obtained as shown in FIG. At this time, the surface of the product that was in contact with the mirror surface 5 of the formwork is formed, and a glossy polished surface is formed. In the present invention, as the proportion of granulated water 1 increases, the color of the product becomes blacker, and on the other hand, as the proportion of white sand (kansui stone) 2 increases, the artificial granite becomes whiter. At this time, the ingredient list of the granulated water is as follows.

[Table] According to the present invention, by manufacturing the formwork 6 into an arbitrary shape, an artificial granite product 7 having a desired external shape can be easily obtained, and surface polishing is not required. The granulated water, which is the main component of the product of the present invention, is a by-product of blast furnaces, commonly called slag, and is an inexpensive product that has been out of business or used as a raw material for bricks and cement. Not only is it easy, but it also enables inexpensive and mass production. Incidentally, an extender can be appropriately added to the epoxy resin mortar, which contributes to further reduction in price. The product of the present invention can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as building materials for interior and exterior walls, floors, landscaping stones, and various other molded products.
