Next, at the time of a withdrawal transaction, cash is withdrawn from the denomination-specific cash storage box provided in the teller deposit/withdrawal machine itself. Therefore, the time required for dispensing money is significantly shortened compared to the case where cash is transferred from the teller's office and disbursed. In addition, there is no need to move the conveyor during withdrawal operations, which means that even if the conveyance mechanism between the teller machine and the teller section breaks down, as long as there is cash in the denomination-specific cash storage box of the teller machine, withdrawals can be made. This makes it possible to easily control the operation of the transport mechanism.

On the other hand, the roller 49a that presses down the banknotes 48 in the conveyor 9 from above retreats upward at the same time as the table 41 moves. Although this roller 49a is not particularly shown, it is supported so as to be movable in the vertical direction as described above, and is itself rotationally driven. Further, the lower roller 49b is supported so as to be rotatable in either a clockwise direction or a counterclockwise direction. Therefore, while the table 41 is moving, the roller 49b rotates counterclockwise due to contact with the bill 48 and does not prevent the bill 48 from moving together with the conveyor 9. The pair of rollers 49a and 49b temporarily hold down the banknotes when the banknotes are stored in the conveyor 9, and also feed out the banknotes when taking the banknotes from the conveyor 9 into the counter deposit/disbursement machine 4 or the teller section 3. do the work.

Here, the movement of the carrier 9 will be further explained. When the table 41 moves, its protruding portion 41a pushes the receiving portion 46a of the transport table 46. Therefore, the receiving part 46a rotates clockwise and the lock 46b1 also rotates, so that the carrier 9
is transferred from the table 41 to the conveyor table 46 as the link 43 rotates, and is stored as shown by the solid line in FIG. At this time, the tip of the link 43 moves along the arm 9a of the carrier 9 and is in a released state.

After the above state, the drive wheel 42 is rotated clockwise to move the platform 41 away from the conveyance path 8 side. As a result, the receiving part 46a is released from the pressure of the protruding part 41a, so that it is rotated counterclockwise by, for example, a spring (not shown), and returns to the initial position. That is, the lock 46b1 is locked to the locking part 9b1 of the conveyor 9, and the lock 46b1 is locked to the locking part 9b1.
By cooperating with b 1 , the carrier 9 is firmly fixed on the carrier 46 . This state is shown in FIG. 6. From then on, the conveyance path 9 is moved on the rail 44 in the conveyance path 8 via the car 45 by the action of a control section (not shown), and transferred to the storage section 3. Cash, in other words, banknotes 48 can be transported.

The operation of conveying cash to the teller section 3 by the conveyor 9 has been explained above, but conversely, when cash is conveyed from the teller section 3 to the counter teller machine 4 side and replenished, it is also carried from the teller section 3. The storage of cash in the body 9, the transfer of the conveyance body 9 from the teller section 3 to the conveyance path 8, and the movement of the conveyance body 9 within the conveyance path 8 are performed in the same manner as described above.

The general structure of the teller section 3 is shown in FIG. 7, which includes storage boxes 103 to 105 in which replenishment cash is stored in advance at the start of work, a storage box 108 dedicated to storing cash that is highly fatigued, and replenishment boxes 103 to 105. It has a reject storage box 107 for collecting overlapping banknotes that occur during cash withdrawal, and also has a discriminator 101 that determines the denomination and overlap of cash at the time of withdrawal, and a conveyor 9 is connected to the conveyance path 8. It is provided with a cash transfer section 102 that transfers cash between machines and takes in cash from the conveyance path 8 or sends it to the conveyance path 8, and the basic configuration is the same as that of the teller deposit/disbursement machine 4.
The reason why the teller section 3 has a cash distinguishing section and a reject storage box is to distinguish the occurrence of uncountable overlapping banknotes so that the cash balance can be accurately managed for each teller section and each teller deposit/dispensing machine. This is to prevent them from being collected and sent outside the accounting department.

In the teller machine that receives cash replenishment, the link 43 rotates to the position shown in FIG. 5 and waits for the arrival of the carrier 9. When the conveyance table 46 carries the conveyance body 9 to the teller deposit/withdrawal machine 4 and stops, the groove of the arm 9a of the conveyance body 9 is positioned on the engagement pin at the tip of the link 43, and the base 41 is brought into contact with the drive wheel 42. The rotation moves from the position shown in FIG. 4 to the position shown in FIG. As a result, the lock 46b1 of the carrier 46 is released from the carrier 9. Thereafter, the link 43 rotates clockwise to move the carrier 9 from the carrier 46 to the platform 41, and the drive wheel 42 rotates in the opposite direction to move the platform 41 to the position shown in FIG. During this time, the upper roller 49a is retracted upward, but the
When the first movement is completed, it moves downward and comes into contact with the upper part of the cash in the conveyor 9, and is rotated by a drive source (not shown) to send the cash one by one from the top into the conveyance path formed by the belt 47.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above in detail, according to the present invention,
The teller deposit/withdrawal machine installed at the teller counter performs various types of cash discrimination during deposit transactions, checks the degree of fatigue of cash determined to be genuine notes, and deposits and withdraws cash with a large degree of fatigue using a conveyor. Items that are less tiring and can be reused for payment are stored by denomination and used as cash for the next withdrawal. Therefore, non-reusable cash does not remain in each teller deposit/dispensing machine, the structure of the device can be made smaller, and cash for dispensing can be replenished without human intervention by reusing input cash. I can do it.

Furthermore, since each teller deposit/withdrawal machine stores cash by denomination, the withdrawal operation time is shortened, and there is no need to move the conveyor every time a payment transaction is made, so the conveyance speed can be kept at a low speed and the conveyance system control is easier and reliability is improved. In addition, even if some kind of failure occurs in the transportation system and the operation of the transportation vehicle becomes difficult, each counter deposit/withdrawal machine stores cash, so withdrawal transactions at the counter can continue, reducing confusion, etc. The effect of this can be obtained.
