Generally, this type of color plume tube electron gun is the first
It has the basic configuration as shown in the figure. That is, a plurality of control electrodes 2 are connected to the stem 1 for introducing control power.
a, 2b, 2c, and 2d are welded and connected to two bead glasses 3 to form an electronic lens. In addition, a plurality of leaf springs 4 are attached to the upper part of the cathode ray tube in order to center the entire electron gun and absorb external vibrations by contacting the inner wall of the cathode ray tube. A getter 7 supported by a getter support 5 and a getter protection spring 6 is provided.

The components of these electron guns are manufactured by press-forming thin plates with a thickness of 0.05 to 0.4 mm made of soft metals such as stainless steel, or are made of porcelain materials such as glass and ceramics, so assembly work is required. When carrying out this work, careful attention is required in each work such as supplying, assembling, unloading, and inspecting the workpieces, and therefore manual work that requires skill is the main activity. For example, the getter support 5 is assembled to the getter 7 by spot welding. As shown in FIG. It is made of elastic stainless steel and has a thin arcuate flat plate shape of approximately 49 mm, so it is difficult to automatically align and feed it because a reference surface for feeding cannot be secured. This depends on the method of feeding the material into the automatic assembly machine, which requires a huge amount of man-hours.

[Object of the Invention] The present invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to enable automatic alignment and automatic sorting, which were difficult in the past, and to easily produce a getter assembly with excellent reliability. The objective is to provide a getter support that can be assembled automatically.

In order to achieve this purpose, the getter support of the present invention follows the basic structure of a conventional thin-walled arcuate flat plate, but has protrusions or cutouts in arbitrary parts to align and align them. This is to be used as a standard. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail using Examples.

FIG. 3 is a perspective view of a getter support showing an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 4 is an enlarged perspective view of a portion A of the getter support. As shown in the figure, the getter support 8 has cut and raised sections 8a and 8b on the front and back sides in the plate thickness direction by press molding or the like on its tip surface which becomes the getter weld. This cut-and-raised part also functions as a lead wire that supplies high voltage of approximately 25KV while the cathode ray tube is operating, so if the cut-and-raised part is too large or has sharp protrusions, there is a risk of high-voltage sparks. . For this reason, in this embodiment, the cut and raised portions 8a and 8b have a length of about 1 mm, and the end faces are rounded.

An example of an automatic feeding method for the getter support 8 will be explained with reference to FIG. In the figure, a feeding groove 11 matching the arcuate curvature of the getter support 8 is provided between a pair of feeding guides 9 and 10.
When aligning the workpieces, for example, the alignment guides 9 and 1 that are opposed to the electromagnetic feeder through the alignment groove 11 are used.
By arranging 0 in a spiral, the main body of the work falls into the groove 11 during movement, and the workpiece is cut and raised 8.
a, 8b are hooked onto the guides 9, 10 on both sides and held there, resulting in a series of getter supports 8 aligned as shown.

Further, when the alignment grooves 11 are arranged in a straight line, it is extremely easy to transport the workpieces in an aligned state by the length of the guides 9 and 10 on both sides. Furthermore, by directly connecting a welding mechanism to such a feeding mechanism, an unmanned automatic assembly machine can be easily put into practical use. FIG. 6 shows a state in which the getter support 8 is assembled to an electron gun.

The example above has been explained in which the getter support is provided with a cut protrusion that protrudes from the front and back in the thickness direction at the tip of the getter support, but if it serves as a reference for alignment and feeding during automatic feeding, the installation location is limited to the tip above. Needless to say, it is not necessary to use a cut-and-raised part or a protrusion of other shapes. However, it goes without saying that in determining the shape, consideration must be given to the high-pressure spark as described above.

By providing a protrusion or cut-out that serves as a guide reference, the shift work during getter support welding, which used to be manual and required a large amount of man-hours, can be repeated with excellent stability and reliability. Automatic supply can be easily changed, and the work efficiency and reliability of electron gun assembly can be improved.
