[Industrial Field of Application] The present invention relates to pet food. [Prior Art] As the breeding of pet animals such as dogs and cats has become popular, various pet foods have been devised and commercially available. Among these, the internal organs of animals such as cows and pigs have also been processed and used as raw materials for pet foods. [Problems to be solved by the invention] However, the palatability of pets is not sufficient. In addition, these internal organs are inherently expensive, and it is difficult to use them as they are in terms of cost. Furthermore, due to the odor of these internal organs, there are restrictions on where pet food can be manufactured. As a result of studying pet food that uses animal internal organs and does not have these drawbacks, the present inventors found that
The present invention has been discovered. [Means for Solving the Problems] That is, the present invention relates to a pet food coated with freeze-dried animal internal organs. The animal internal organs used in the present invention include internal organs of cows, pigs, chickens, etc., such as the gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, liver, etc., and preferably the livers of cows or pigs. In the present invention, a coating agent that is freeze-dried after being heat-treated is used as a coating agent. Heat treatment is preferable because it deactivates and sterilizes the enzymes contained. Further, freeze-drying is performed according to a conventional method. Various methods can be used to coat pet food with a freeze-dried product, such as dissolving or suspending the freeze-dried product in oil or the like and spraying it on the pet food, then drying it, or
Another method is to sprinkle powder of freeze-dried product directly onto the surface of pet food. Among these, the spraying method is preferred. In this case, the freeze-dried product is suspended in, for example, about 2 to 10% oil or fat. The amount of coating is 0.01-0.8% by weight, preferably about 0.03-0.6% by weight. Approximately 0.2% by weight when coating dry pet food
However, in the case of semi-moist pet food, approximately 0.6% by weight is required. The pet food coated in the present invention may be any pet food that has been conventionally used. It is also particularly effective in pet food for dogs. These pet foods include combinations selected from corn, wheat flour, soybean meal, yeast, fish meal, wheat germ, vitamins, minerals, etc., and these raw materials are formed into granules or the like. [Example] Next, an example will be shown. Example 1 () 100 kg of raw frozen beef liver was thawed and minced, then transferred to a heating tank and heated at 60°C for 30 minutes. Next, using a freeze dryer (manufactured by ULVAC), it was dried at a vacuum degree of 0.01 TORR and a temperature of 30°C to obtain 26 kg of freeze-dried beef liver powder. Pig liver freeze-dried powder was also obtained in the same manner. () 400Kg of corn, 250Kg of wheat flour, 30Kg of defatted rice bran, 150Kg of meat meal, 80Kg of soybean meal,
20 kg of vitamin mixture, 30 kg of mineral mixture, and 20 kg of white soybean oil were placed in a mixer and thoroughly stirred and mixed. Next, the mixture was fed to an extruder at a rate of 110 kg/hour, water was added at 14/hour, steam was added at 16.5 kg/hour, and the mixture was molded into granules at a granulation temperature of 143° C. and dried to obtain pet food (hereinafter referred to as pet food A). Transfer pet food A490Kg to a rotating drum,
10 kg of beef tallow, which had been heated and melted at 50 to 60°C, was sprayed. The obtained product is used as basic pet food (hereinafter referred to as
It was designated as pet food B). () Lyophilized beef liver powder obtained in ()

Got dog food. Example 2 Lyophilized beef liver powder 2 obtained in Example 1 ()
kg was mixed uniformly with 20 kg of beef tallow, which had been heated and melted at 50 to 60°C in advance. The resulting mixture was uniformly sprayed onto 978 kg of pet food A while mixing using a rotating drum to obtain a dog food. Example 3 A dog food coated with lyophilized pig liver was obtained in the same manner as in Example 2 using 2 kg of the lyophilized pig liver powder obtained by the method of Example 1 (). Example 4 Raw pork mince 5Kg, meat roll 10Kg, wheat flour 42Kg, soybean meal 10Kg, chicken meal 12Kg, sugar 6
Kg, potassium sorbate 0.35 Kg, mineral mix 3.45 Kg, vitamin mix 0.5 Kg, propylene glycol 5 Kg, phosphoric acid 1.7 Kg, and beef tallow 4 Kg were placed in a mixer and thoroughly stirred and mixed. The mixture was fed to the extruder at a rate of 110 kg/hour, and water was added at 34/hour.
The product was molded into granules at 16.5 kg/hour of steam and a temperature of 80°C, and then cooled to obtain a semi-moist food for dogs (approximately 30% water content by weight). 97.4 kg of the product was transferred to a rotating drum, and a suspension of 0.6 kg of the lyophilized beef liver powder obtained in Example 1 () was uniformly mixed with 2 kg of pre-warmed (50 to 60°C) melted beef tallow. to obtain semi-moist dog food. [Effect] The pet food of the present invention has good palatability, especially for dogs. Next, specific effects of the products of the present invention will be shown. A predetermined amount of the dog food obtained in Examples 1, 2, and 3 and pet food B as a comparative example were given to 20 dogs of 9 breeds in 15 sections, and the amount of food consumed 24 hours later was measured.

[Table] As can be seen from Table 1, the palatability of the pet food of the present invention is significantly improved compared to the conventional pet food even with a small amount of coating. In addition, the amount of coating used is so small that it is barely noticeable to humans.
It can solve the problem of location of the processing plant, and it is also cost-effective because animal internal organs are not used in their original form.
