    と、 前記画像を記録する記録紙の主走査方向の紙幅
    を検出する紙サイズ検出手段と、 前記紙サイズ検出手段により検出された紙幅に
    対応する、前記画周波数発生手段からの画周波数
    を選択する画周波選択手段とを具備したことを特
    徴とする画像形成装置。
