Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject formula feed capable of fattening a beef cattle in high efficiency, increasing the milk quantity of dairy cattle and improving the quality of milk by compounding a small amount of bile powder to a formula feed containing yeast, yeast culture, enzymatic decomposition product of protein and by-pass oil and fat. CONSTITUTION:The objective formula feed is produced by compounding 0.5-5pts. wt. of bile powder to 100pts.wt. of a formula feed containing 1pt.wt. of yeast (preferably torula yeast), 0.05-1.5pts.wt. of a yeast culture (preferably a substance produced by culturing beer yeast in a mixture of molasses, peptone and salt and drying the product in a state to keep the proliferation potency of the yeast), an enzymatic decomposition product of a protein (preferably substance produced by decomposing skinned soybean cake with an enzyme) and 0.2-1.5pts.wt. of by-pass oil and fat (preferably a fatty acid calcium salt).

When raising beef cattle, large amounts of high-calorie concentrated feed are fed in order to increase body weight in the later stages of fattening, but this tends to lead to side-effects such as liver damage and flatulence, so it is not always effective. was not demonstrating his true potential.

On the other hand, dairy cows secrete a large amount of milk after giving birth, so their body weight decreases immediately after giving birth,
It reaches its lowest point in two weeks and then gradually recovers. On the other hand, feed intake gradually increases immediately after birth and reaches its maximum when the body weight reaches its minimum.

In this way, dairy cows secrete milk even when they lose weight, so feeding them high-calorie feed and avoiding physical exhaustion as much as possible will lead to increased milk production and improved milk quality. In addition, if physical strength is recovered quickly, the next estrus will be normal, which is an effective means to hasten conception and improve productivity.

The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned problems, and its composition includes 0.5 to 0.5 parts by weight of bile powder per 100 parts by weight of a feed formulation containing yeast, yeast culture, enzymatic decomposition products of proteins, and bypass oil. It is characterized in that it is blended in an amount of 5 parts by weight.

Bile powder is dried bovine or porcine bile, and its composition consists mostly of bile acids. The content of bile acids contained in bile powder is usually 50% by weight or more. The action of bile acids in the digestive system is to emulsify fats through their surfactant action. Therefore, if bile powder is fed to livestock in combination with fatty feed, the fatty feed can be absorbed smoothly without disrupting the balance of bacterial flora in the rumen.

The yeast used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it produces digestive enzymes, but Torula yeast, sugar cane yeast, and brewer's yeast are particularly preferred. Yeast culture, which is a yeast culture product, is not limited in type, but it is preferable to ferment Torula yeast, sugar cane yeast, or brewer's yeast in a medium containing starch, diastase, malt, molasses, etc., and then dry it. Among these, a powdered product (trade name: Esac) obtained by drying brewer's yeast cultured in a mixed medium of molasses, salts, and peptone while still retaining its ability to proliferate is preferred.

Enzymatic degradation products of proteins depend on the type and purity of the raw protein,
Although it varies depending on the type of proteolytic enzyme used and the decomposition conditions, the main components are amino acids and low molecular weight polypeptides, and some proteolytic enzymes are also mixed in. Among these, a product whose main ingredients are amino acids and polypeptides obtained by enzymatically decomposing dehulled amino acids (trade name: Natterton) is preferred.

Bypass fats and oils can be used as long as they are inactive in the rumen and are digested and absorbed in the third period or later, such as commercially available calcium fatty acids and powdered beef tallow with adjusted melting point. In order to avoid deterioration of the bypass oil due to bile powder as much as possible,
Fatty acid calcium systems are preferred. The amount of bypass oil/fat to be blended is 0.2 to 15, preferably 0.2 to 15, preferably 0.
It is 5 to 10 parts by weight. If the amount of bypass oil is less than 0.2 parts by weight, no effect of the blending will be observed, and if it is 15 parts by weight or more, no corresponding effect will be observed even if the amount added is increased.

Although the mixed feed of the present invention is in powder form, it may be compressed into pellets or granules by adding a small amount of a binder. Alternatively, when powdered beef tallow with a controlled melting point is used, it can be pelletized or granulated without particularly using a binder.

The compound of the present invention is not only applicable to cows and dairy cows in the later stages of fattening, but also has sufficient effects when used on calves.
It is particularly useful for cattle in the later stages of fattening, which are suffering from poor eating habits and poor weight gain due to lack of appropriate measures.

In addition, the combination of yeast, yeast culture, enzymatic decomposition products of proteins, and bypass fats and oils in a desirable ratio, as well as bile powder in an appropriate ratio, allows for a large amount of milk to be produced without impairing the palatability of cows. Even in the presence of bypass fats and oils, the bile powder maintains normal bacterial flora in the rumen, making intestinal absorption of bypass fats and oils even better.

Maintaining the normal bacterial flora in the rumen will improve the digestion and absorption of normally fed feed, and will also promote the intestinal absorption of high-calorie bypass fats and fats, leading to weight gain and milk secretion in cows. Increased milk quantity and improved milk quality are observed, which in turn accelerates the first estrus after birth.

The effect of the feed formulation of the present invention was determined by measuring milk volume and milk fat percentage before and after administration. Furthermore, after 6 weeks of administration, administration of the feed formulation was discontinued and its effect was measured. Further, as Comparative Example 1, another cow was used, and the milk yield and milk quality were measured in the same manner as in Example 1, except that the feed composition of Formulation 2 was used. Example 2 and Comparative Examples 2 to 3 The period from calving to the first estrus after birth was measured to determine the effect of shortening the gestation period of dairy cows. In the test, three Holstein cows that had just completed their third birth and had never had reproductive problems in the past were used as a group, and the number of days until the first estrus after parturition was measured when the feed mixture of Formulation 4 was administered. The results were then compared with past records of the number of days until the first estrus after second calving for the same dairy cow.

Table 1 [Effects of the Invention] Feed for cattle of the present invention, which is a feed composition containing yeast, yeast culture, enzymatic decomposition products of proteins, and bypass fats and oils in an appropriate ratio, and further contains bile powder in an appropriate ratio. The formulation maintains the normal bacterial flora in the rumen even with the addition of bypass oil, without impairing the cow's palatability, and in dairy cows increases milk yield, improves milk quality, and even reaches the first estrus after giving birth. It is effective in shortening the number of days required for fattening, and had a significant effect on weight gain in the latter stages of fattening in beef cattle.
