Abstract

PURPOSE:To relax tensile or compressive stress caused at a U-shaped suspended portion of a flat tail cord by providing a tail cord tension device at supporting portions on a cage and elevator path sides so as to freely change the tension of a tension rope. CONSTITUTION:A flat tail cord 9 containing a tension rope suspended in a U-shape is travelled along a receiving roller within an elevator path while being usually extended downwardly by a pulley 12. In the U-shaped suspended portion, there occur a tensile stress 21 on the upper portion abuted on the groove of the pulley 12 and the compressive stress on the lower portion. When the cord 9 is wound around the pulley in a tail cord tension device on the cage side, the tension rope on the upper and lower portions yields the tensile stress 21 and the compressive stress 22, respectively. Thus, a tension rod 18a is drawn downwardly and a tension rod 18b is pushed upwardly, so that a tension coil spring 17a is compressed and a tension coil spring 17 is extended. With this action, the outside of the cord 9 is extended, and the inside thereof is contracted, an therefore, the generated stress can be relaxed.

The above conventional technology takes into consideration the fact that tensile stress and compressive stress are generated on the upper and lower sides of the flat tail cord, respectively, at the bent portion of the U-hanging part of the flat tail cord, which causes twisting of the electric wire inside the tail cord. There was a risk that the electric wire inside the tail cord would break.

The tail cord tensioning device has an elastic body that can freely change the tension of the tension rope that receives the tension of the flat tail cord.In response to the tensile and compressive stress generated in the six flat tail cords, this elastic body responds to the opposite compression stress. , generating tensile stress. As a result, the stress generated in the flat tail cord is alleviated, and the wire can be moved in and out of the pulley groove of the tension device without difficulty, thereby preventing the electric wires inside the flat tail cord from twisting and breaking, thereby extending the life of the cord.

As shown in FIG. 3, the U-suspended flat tail cord 9 with a tension rope is always pulled downward by the pulley 12 while running on the rollers 15 in the hoistway. As shown in FIG. 4, when the tension rope-containing flat tail cord 9 is in a natural U-hanging state without the pulley 12, the bent portion thereof is tilted inward. During actual lifting, the tension rope-containing flat tail cord 9 is constantly pulled downward by the pulley 12, and the upper side of the portion that touches the pulley groove of the U-hanging portion has a tensile stress of 21. Compressive stress 22 occurs on the lower side.

In the tail cord tensioning device 11 on the car 1 side, when the flat tail cord 9 with tension rope is wound around the pulley 12, the tension rope 16a on the upper side of the flat tail cord 9 with tension rope has a tensile force of 2.
] -6b on the lower side produces a compressive force 22. As a result, the tension rod 18a is pulled down and the tension rod 18b is pushed up, so that the tension coil spring 17a is compressed and the tension coil spring 17b is stretched. Due to these operations, the outside of the tension rope-containing flat tail cord 9 is stretched and the inside is contracted, so that the generated stress is alleviated.
