接触糸が非熱硬化性の樹脂から形成されることを特徴と
する請求項1の汚水浄化用の接触材。 3、物理的又は化学的条件を与えることにより硬化する
物質を用いてテープ状の芯材を形成し、該芯材の上に前
記物理的又は化学的条件に対して安定な多数の輪状の接
触糸を設け、該接触糸を設けた芯材を捩り、該捩れた状
態の芯材に対して物理的又は化学的条件を与えることに
より、前記接触糸を設けた芯材を捩れた状態に固定化す
ることを特徴とする汚水浄化用の接触材の製造方法。 4、前記物理的又は化学的条件を与えることにより硬化
する物質が熱硬化性の樹脂であることを特徴とする請求
項3の製造方法。 5、前記捩れた状態の芯材を同筒等の外周面に巻きつけ
螺旋状体となし、その後前記螺旋状体に物理的又は化学
的条件を与えることにより、前記螺旋状の形状を固定化
することを特徴とする請求項3又は4の製造方法。
