    タル金属板がしつかりと巻き付けられ、 点灯時において、前記タンタル金属板のアーク
    支持部側のエツジからアーク支持部方向に１mm離
    間した位置の電極胴体部の温度と、このエツジか
    ら反対方向に１mm離間した位置のタンタル金属板
    の温度との差が２００℃以内であることを特徴と
    するシヨートアーク型高圧水銀ランプ。
