It is well known that a synthetic resin foam sheet is used as a waterproof base material. As a synthetic resin foam sheet used for this purpose, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 57-30116 describes the use of a perforated polyethylene foam heat insulating board.

This perforated polyethylene foam insulation board is made by laminating a woven or non-woven fabric on one side of polyethylene foam, and hot asphalt is introduced through the holes between the foam insulation board and the substrate to tightly bond it. It is an attempt to do so.

Regarding the perforated polyethylene foam insulation board,
In an experiment, it was found that because the hot asphalt flows through the holes into the entire area between the base and the foam insulation board, there is no place for gases such as water vapor generated from the base to escape, and the resulting pressure causes the hot asphalt to swell, making it impossible to adhere as expected. There were flaws.

The waterproof base material of this invention is characterized in that a temporary adhesive layer is formed at least around the through holes on at least one side of a foam sheet having 30 to 3000 through holes per 100 cm 2 of the sheet surface.

In this invention, since a temporary adhesive layer is provided at least around the through holes on at least one side of the sheet having through holes, when the sheet is placed on the base to be applied, at least the area around the through holes is temporarily attached. The adhesive layer temporarily adheres to the base. Therefore, the waterproof material such as urethane resin formed on the top surface of the sheet forms a waterproof layer and at the same time flows into the through hole and reaches the base, but it is blocked by the temporary attachment part around the through hole and flows between the base material and the base. The sheet is fixed to the base without flowing into the base. Due to the temporary bonding layer, the temporary bonding surface is then easily peeled off by the pressure of gas such as water vapor generated from the base, and the gas in between passes through the gap and easily dissipates to the surroundings, so no blistering occurs.

Reference numeral 1 is a closed-cell flexible foam sheet in which through-holes 2 are perforated at approximately equal intervals in the range of 30 to 3000 per 100 cm 2 .

The closed-cell flexible foam sheet 1 is a foam sheet whose main material is a resin such as polyethylene, polypropylene, etc. or a copolymer of monomers such as ethylene or propylene with other monomers, and in particular, polyolefin resin. Crosslinked foams are preferably used.

In particular, the pore size used is within the diameter range of 1 to 15 mm. If the pore diameter is too large or the pore density is too large, the strength and cushioning properties of the foam sheet will decrease, and if the pore diameter or pore density is small, the effect of adhesion to the substrate through the through-holes will be small, which is undesirable in either case. .

Note that a woven fabric, a nonwoven fabric, or the like may be attached to the upper surface of the foam sheet 1 so as not to obstruct the through holes 2 in order to reinforce it or improve the adhesion of the urethane waterproof layer formed on the upper surface.

A temporary adhesion layer 3 is formed on the surface of the sheet 1 to be adhered to the base, excluding the portion of the through hole 2. This temporary adhesion layer is for temporarily adhering the sheet 1 to the base, and uses an adhesive or adhesive material having temporary adhesion properties. For example, natural rubber-based, chloroprene-based, nitrile-based, or acrylic adhesives or pressure-sensitive adhesives may be applied in a smaller amount than is normally used for adhesion or adhesion, such as typically 100 g/m 2 .
If the coating amount is 50g/m 2 , the temporary adhesion layer will be formed by approximately half the coating amount, 50g/m 2 .
