In order to inspect the appearance of the powder or granule material A, that is, to remove defective products such as chips or cracks or foreign objects from the powder or granule material A,
Light is emitted from the transmission light source 26 toward the powder/grain material falling path S, and the light that passes through the gap between the falling powder/grain materials A is reflected by the half mirror 28 and enters the line sensor camera 29 disposed above. let on the other hand,
The light irradiated from the reflection light source 27 is reflected from the falling granular material A, further reflected by the half mirror 28, and is incident on the line sensor camera 29 disposed above. In this case, the amount of light reflected from the non-defective powder by the reflection light source 27 and the amount of light transmitted from the transmission light source 26 are set to be equal.

Therefore, if all of the falling granules A are good, the images captured by the line sensor camera 29 have the same brightness, and the granules A are hardly visible. On the other hand, if defective powder or foreign matter is mixed into the powder or granule material A, the amount of reflected light from these objects will be different from that of the non-defective product, which means that the brightness will be different from that of the non-defective product. A dark spot or a bright spot will occur in the image No. 29. This dark spot or bright spot is detected by the image processing device 30, and if there is a dark spot or bright spot, the valve 22a of the removing device 22 is opened by the removing device control means 31, 32 to remove the defective powder or foreign matter. That's what I do.

For this reason, as shown in FIG. 4, when the brush 33 is brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of each transparent rotating cylinder 20, 21, the outer circumferential surface of the brush 33 is Either scrape off the dust that has adhered to the surface, or as shown in FIG. A method was proposed. Furthermore, as a combination of these methods, as shown in FIG. 6, a rotary brush 37 is accommodated in a groove-shaped box 36, and an air suction port 38 is provided at the bottom of the box 36. It was proposed (disclosed in the above-mentioned publication).

In the cleaning device shown in FIG. 4, the wiped fine powder particles accumulate in the flocked portion 33a of the brush 33, and if used for a long time, there is a risk that the outer circumferential surfaces of the transparent rotating cylinders 20, 21 may be contaminated.

In the cleaning device shown in FIG. 6, when dust is scraped off by the rotating brush 37, the dust tends to enter deep into the bristle part of the rotating brush 37, and the dust accumulates without being suctioned and removed from the air suction port 38. If the bristles stand out at the tips of the flocked portions, there is a drawback that the outer circumferential surfaces of the transparent rotating cylinders 20 and 21 will be stained.
