る。特にエアースプレーガンにおいては重要な働
きをもつている。

め、重量も重く、エアースプレーガンとしてハン
ドガンの場合は、塗装作業時の疲労が大きくな
り、塗装作業者からは軽量化の声が望まれてい
る。又、自動ガンの場合も、空気キヤツプの重量
が大のときは、自動ガンを振り廻わすときに生ず
る慣性力も大となり、その分だけ衝撃力が加わ
り、機器の円滑な動きに支障を来たし、塗面の仕
上り不良や機器の故障の原因にもつながつてい
る。更に、従来の鋳型で製作した空気キヤツプに
あつては、加工、耐圧の要因で肉厚があまり薄く
取れず、その結果、空気キヤツプ内容積が多くと
れなかつた。従つて、同じ噴出量空気量において
遅い流れとなり、やわらかい塗料霧を生みだそう
とする場合には、やや難があつた。又、空気キヤ
ツプを丸棒からの切削加工等で製作した場合は、
その加工工程も増し面倒で、スプレーガンの空気
キヤツプのコスト低減がなかなか図れなかつた。

央に断面コ字状の突起部6を有し、後方外周に空
気キヤツプへスプレーガン本体部より供給された
圧縮空気が中心孔又は角孔へ導入するための孔7
を6個程あけており、且つ後方つば8が前方に向
つて周囲に亘り折り曲がるように成形してなる。

〈発明の効果〉 上述の様に、本発明のスプレーガンの空気キヤ
ツプは、インナー部とアウター部を夫々薄板材よ
りプレス加工をもつて形成し、これをアウター部
にインナー部を圧入して固着し、前方中心部と後
方外周部とを気密に結合したことにより、従来の
鋳型、鍜造及び丸棒からの機械切削加工より形成
したものに比べ、簡易製作となる。しかも、肉厚
が薄いためインナー部とアウター部間の空間内容
積が多くとれ、又塗料ノズルとインナー部間の空
間内容積も増やすことができるので空気キヤツプ
に重量が軽減され、作業疲労の軽減、衝撃力の緩
和が図れ、機器の寿命を延命させることができ
る。更に、インナー部とアウター部間の空間内容
積が増え、且つ塗料ノズルとインナー部間の空間
内容積も増すことができるので、夫々の空気溜が
大きくなり、塗料ノズルの先端外周とインナー部
との間で形成される中心孔と、アウター部の突起
に形成された角孔より噴出する空気の勢いも緩和
され、噴霧される塗料霧がやわらかく、飛散も少
なくなり、延ては塗膜がより平滑となり、塗着効
率も増大することができる。又、この空気キヤツ
プの主加工はプレス加工でよいため機械加工をす
る箇所が殆んどなくなり、加工工程数の低減につ
ながり、コストダウンを図り得る等の効果を有す
る。尚、本発明のスプレーガンで取扱う液体は、
塗料のみならず、接着剤、その他の薬剤等も含ま
れる。
