  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 ステアリングシヤフトのトルクを検出するトル
    クセンサと、 前記ステアリングシヤフトを所定方向に駆動す
    るステアリングモータと、 前記トルクセンサの出力に基づいて前記ステア
    リングモータを駆動するモータ駆動回路と、を具
    備する電動式パワーステアリング装置において、 前記ステアリングモータの出力軸に連結しトル
    クを変換するトルクコンバータをステアリング機
    構との間に接続したことを特徴とする電動式パワ
    ーステアリング装置。
