Abstract

PURPOSE:To extremely reduce the thickness of a flocked sheet by forming a sheet base material from a synthetic resin type adhesive and flocking the surface thereof with a large number of staple fiber groups. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin type adhesive such as an urethane type, epoxy type or vinyl type adhesive is uniformly applied to the surface of a base material 5 having a release layer on the surface thereof by a roll coater or a flow coater to form a sheet substrate. The surface thereof is flocked with a large number of staple fiber groups 2 by an electrostatic flocking machine and the flocked substrate is pre-dried at 80-90 deg.C for about 5 min in a dryer and finally dried at 100-150 deg.C for 5-10 min. Thereafter, the sheet substrate 1 is peeled off from the base material 5 to obtain an extremely thin product.

A method for manufacturing a flocked sheet without the base material is to uniformly apply a synthetic resin adhesive to the surface of the base material provided with the silica layer using a roll coater, flow coater, etc. to form a sheet base. After planting a large number of short fiber groups on the surface by electrostatic flocking, first pre-dry it at 806C to 90"C for about 5 minutes, then dry it at 100C to 150C for 5 minutes.
After drying for 10 minutes, the sheet substrate was peeled off from the substrate.

[Example] An example will be described with reference to the drawings. In FIGS. 1 and 2, reference numeral 1 is a sheet base made of a synthetic resin adhesive, and a large number of short IAN groups 2 are implanted on the surface of the sheet base. The flocked sheet A was formed by applying the same method. Further, FIG. 3 shows an example in which an adhesive 3 is applied to the back surface of the flocked sheet A, and the surface thereof is covered with a release paper 4.
