て境界近傍ではサーメット中のニッケルは内部のガス圧
力の高低により酸化されたり、あるいはまた還元された
りする。この酸化還元の繰り返しによる体積変化で、ニ
ッケル−ジルコニアサーメット基板に亀裂が入り、その
基板に設けられた電解質層にも亀裂が入り、反応ガス同
士の混触が起こって固体電解質型燃料電池の特性が低下
し、さらに運転の続行ができなくなるという問題があっ
