Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture the coiled pipe in which a caulking part does not loosen even in the case of a long-sized object by providing a press-contacting roller in the vicinity of a caulking roller for caulking a turned-in piece and a folded piece which come into roll-contact with the outside face of a mandrel and are fitted to each other. CONSTITUTION:At first, by a forming mechanism 13, a turned-in piece 11 and a folded piece 12 are formed in one side edge of a metallic strip member 10 and the other side edge, respectively. In that case, the metallic strip member 10 is wound round obliquely to a mandrel 14, while pressing it by a swelling pressing plate 24 so as to fit the turned-in piece 11 and the next folded piece 12, and also, so as not to swell upward, and the superposed part is caulked by a caulking roller 15. The superposed part on which ruggedness is formed by caulking is furthermore subjected to press-contacting by a press-contacting roller 16, and leveled flatly temporarily. The reggedness flattened temporarily is furthermore caulked by a pressure roller 17. A coiled pipe formed in such a way is caulked surely as to its fitting part, therefore, even if it is formed long, the caulking part does not loosen, and accordingly, a water leakage is not generated.

Thus, a folded piece 11 is formed on one side edge of the metal strip material 10, and a folded piece 12 is formed on the other side edge. A metal strip 10 having a folded piece 11 formed on one side edge and a folded piece 12 formed on the other side edge is held diagonally around the core bar 14 while being held down by a swelling holding plate 24 so as not to bulge upward. Go. As shown in FIG. 6, the wrapped metal strip 10 is fitted with the folded piece 11 and the next folded piece 12. The fitted overlapping parts are tilted by guide rollers as shown in FIG. The inclined overlap portion is shown in FIGS.
3, it is crimped by a crimping roller 15. At this time,
The crimping roller 15 is inclined in accordance with the winding angle of the metal strip 10. In addition, the crimping roller 15 is
Although not shown, the left and right screws 35 allow the core bar 14 to be moved and adjusted in the longitudinal direction on a dovetail-shaped table top. Further, it can be moved back and forth depending on the diameter of the winding tube formed by the front and back screws 36. The overlapping portion crimped by the crimping roller 15 has fine irregularities 25 formed on its surface as shown in FIG. The overlapping portion of the metal strip material 10 on which the unevenness 25 is formed is further pressed by a pressing roller 16 disposed directly below the core bar 14 . Since grooves 30a are formed on the pressing surface of the pressing roller 16, the unevenness 25 formed at the overlapping portion is once leveled. Once flattened, the unevenness 25 is further tightened by a tightening roller 17. The crimped overlapping portion becomes slightly rounded as shown in FIG. 9, and fine irregularities 26 are again formed. FIG. 3 is a principle diagram showing the crimping state of the winding tube manufacturing apparatus of the present invention.

Next, a winding tube manufacturing apparatus having a guide rail, which is another embodiment of the present invention, will be described. Here, the winding tube manufacturing apparatus includes a molding mechanism 1 that forms a folded piece 11 on one side edge of a metal strip material 10 and a folded piece 12 on the other side edge.
It has 3. Further, a core metal 14 is provided for winding the strip shaped material molded by the molding mechanism 13 in a spiral shape by fitting the folding piece 11 and the folding piece 12 together. A crimping roller 15 that crimps the matched folding piece 11 and folding piece 12, and a guide rail 27 with a substantially V-shaped cross section that supports the manufactured winding tube.
A fall prevention fitting 29 is provided at one end of the guide rail 27. As shown in FIG. 10, the guide rail 27 extends forward from a portion of the core bar 14 where the strip material is formed into the winding tube, and is held by legs 37 while being inclined downward. The inclination angle of the guide rail 27 can be arbitrarily set by adjusting the screw 37a provided on the leg 37.

The fall prevention fitting 29 is bent into a dogleg shape, and is attached to the guide rail 2 by a bolt 41 attached to a part of the leg 37.
It is fixed so as to cover the top of 7. Guide rail 27
has a substantially V-shaped cross section, and as shown in FIG. 12, a portion of the V-shaped inner surface is cut out at regular intervals to form grooves 27a. This cutout groove 27a reduces the contact area between the winding tube and the guide rail 27, thereby reducing rotational friction. As shown in FIGS. 13 and 14, a sensor 38 is fixed to the rear end of the guide rail 27 by a magnet 39. The sensor 38 may be either optical or mechanical, and detects the tip of the formed winding tube. A detection signal from the sensor 38 is transmitted to the main body of the apparatus via the cord 40, and the production of the winding tube is stopped.

Next, a method of using the winding tube manufacturing apparatus constructed as described above will be explained. The winding tube formed by the winding tube manufacturing apparatus main body extends along the guide rail 27. At this time, since the winding tube is manufactured while being rotated, it extends while contacting the inside of the V-shaped groove of the guide rail 27. When the tube extends to a predetermined length, sensor 3
8 detects this and generates a stop signal. In response to the stop signal, the main body of the device stops its operation and cuts the winding tube with a cutter (not shown). Note that the sensor 38 can be easily removed by operating the lever 39a and can be fixed on a desired guide rail. Therefore, it can be set freely according to the length of the winding tube to be manufactured. Furthermore, when removing the winding tube from the guide rail 27, if the tube is long, for example, 100 m or more, the central part of the tube is wavy,
Sometimes it would fall on the opposite side when I tried to take it out. However, in the guide rail of the winding tube manufacturing apparatus of the present invention, fall prevention fittings 29 are provided at appropriate locations, so even if the guide rail is wavy in the center, it will not fall to the opposite side.

In the above embodiment, the V of the guide rail 27
Although a case has been described in which the inner surface of the V-shape is cut out at regular intervals, rollers may be provided on the inner surface of the V-shape and rotated by an external drive mechanism to automatically feed the winding tube. With this configuration, the rotational friction of the long winding tube can be significantly reduced. Note that the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various design changes can be made based on the technical idea of the present invention.

Effects of the Invention As described in detail above, the winding tube manufacturing apparatus according to the present invention has a forming mechanism that forms a folded piece on one side edge of a metal strip material and a folded piece on the other side edge. Prepare,
A core metal is provided for winding the strip shaped material molded by the molding mechanism in a spiral shape by fitting the folding piece and the folding piece together, the core metal is in contact with the outer surface of the core metal, and the folding piece and the folding piece fitted together are folded together. A swaging roller is provided to swage the pieces together, and a pressure roller is disposed near the swaging roller, so that the metal strip material is swaged once by the swaging roller, and then further pressed by the swaging roller, so that it can be folded. It is possible to securely tighten the piece and the folded piece. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture a long winding tube, and the winding tube can be made such that the caulked portion does not loosen. Further, since the guide rail has a substantially V-shaped cross section, surface friction due to rotation can be reduced even when the winding tube is a long one. Furthermore, if a stopper is attached to a predetermined position on the guide rail, the winding tube manufacturing apparatus will automatically stop when the manufactured winding tube reaches a preset length. In addition, since a part of the inner surface of the guide rail is cut out in the shape of a concave groove, the rotational resistance during manufacturing of the winding tube can be reduced. Furthermore, if a roller is provided inside the guide rail and this roller is driven, the rotational resistance can be further reduced. Furthermore, since fall prevention fittings are provided at appropriate positions on the guide rail, even if an attempt is made to take out the winding tube, it will not fall to the opposite side.
