Description
産業上の利用
本発明は、化粧品用の顔料としての球状のハイ
ドロキシアパタイトに関するものである。
従来の技術
従来より白粉、口紅、その他の化粧品には、
種々の顔料、例えば、タルク、炭酸カルシウム、
カオリンなどの体質顔料、酸化亜鉛、酸化チタン
などの白色顔料、酸化鉄、群青、クロム緑などの
着色顔料、魚鱗箔、マイカ、雲母チタン、オキシ
酸化ビスマスなどのパール顔料、及びステアリン
酸マグネシウム、パルミチン酸亜鉛などの金属石
ケン、その他が使用されている。これらの中で白
色顔料は最も多く使用されており、白色に着色す
る外、他の着色顔料と混合して色合を変え、隠蔽
力を大きくし、被覆力を調整している。体質顔料
は着色顔料をうすめて、適当な濃さにして着色を
調整し又感触を調整している。パール顔料は光沢
を与え、金属石ケンは皮膚への付着力の向上、油
中への顔料分散をよくするために使用されてい
る。ハイドロキシアパタイトCa10(PO4)6(OH)2
は歯骨など人体に存在する無機質で、人体に悪影
響を及ぼさないので、歯磨研磨材、骨補修材とし
て使用されている。然しながら顔料として化粧品
に使用することは試みられていない。
発明が解決しようとする問題点
最近化粧品による皮膚障害が問題となつている
ので本発明は人体に存在し悪影響を及ぼさないハ
イドロキシアパタイトを従来化粧品に使用されて
いる顔料の代りに使用することにより、人体によ
り安全な化粧品を提供することにある。
問題を解決するための手段
ハイドロキシアパタイトをゼツトミル、ミクロ
ンミル、コロイドミルなどの超微粉砕機を用いて
微粉とし篩分けして一定範囲の大きさの粉子を採
取するか、又はポリエステル、ポリエチレン、ナ
イロン、ポリメチルメタアクリレート、その他球
型にそろえられたポリマー球に、ハイドロキシア
パタイト微粉末を、シリコンアクリルエマルジヨ
ン、ウレタンアクリルエマルジヨンなどの結合剤
の存在下約20゜から80℃の温度大気圧下に混合し、
次いで乾燥させてポリマ球表面にハイドロキシア
パタイト微粉末を付着させた粒子(以下球状ハイ
ドロキシアパタイトと記す)を篩分けして一定範
囲の大きさの粉子を採取して従来の白色顔料、体
質顔料の代りに化粧品に使用する。使用するハイ
ドロキシアパタイト、球状ハイドロキシアパタイ
トの粒子の大きさは小さければ小さい程、化粧品
の均質性を向上させるのは当然であるが、微粒子
にすぎると皮膚を通して体内にとり込まれる可能
性があるので、使用するそれらの粒子の大きさ
は、反射率、屈折率なども考慮に入れ3μ〜10μ程
度であることが望ましい。
作 用
このようにして得られた球状ハイドロキシアパ
タイトは従来の顔料の場合と同様に処理すること
により各種の化粧品を製造することができる。
以下に本発明を具体的に実施例で説明する。数
字はいずれも重量%を示している。
