Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of dew condensation within an exterior wall by introducing air from underfloor into a ventilating layer within the exterior wall for a wooden house. CONSTITUTION:A throating 4 is provided for the lower section of an exterior wall finish member 7 wherein the throating is communicated with a ventilating layer 8 provided for the inner side of the exterior wall 7, and concurrently acts as a means preventing outside air from directly coming in. A ventilating packing member 2 is interposed between a foundation 3 and a continuous footing 1 wherein the packing member introduces inside air to the throating 4 while being communicated with an underfloor. The occurrence of dew condensation within the exterior wall is prevented by introducing air within the underfloor which is higher in temperature than outside air, into the throating 4 so as to let it flow in the ventilating layer 9 via the throating 4, and the inside of the exterior wall is thereby concurrently heated.

[Prior art] In warm and humid climates like Japan, it is common sense to provide ventilation in wooden houses in order to protect buildings from moisture. In cold region houses, ventilation layers are provided inside the outer walls to allow air to circulate. The ventilation layer construction method is known.

[0003] In this case, a structure is adopted in which outside air is directly introduced into the ventilation layer through a gap between the outer wall finishing material and the inner wall in the drainage part of the foundation.

[0004] In the above-mentioned structure in which outside air is directly introduced into the outside wall, when the outside air temperature is low, the temperature of the outside wall itself is lowered by the low-temperature air, which promotes the formation of dew condensation inside the wall. Therefore, the current situation is that the above-mentioned ventilation layer construction method cannot completely suppress the occurrence of internal dew condensation in cold regions.

To explain the details using the same figure, the ventilation layer is located outside the heat insulating layer such as glass wool, and is attached to the exterior wall finishing material. is established between.

[0006]The water vapor contained in indoor air is
It has a partial pressure (water vapor pressure) corresponding to the amount of water vapor at that time and the room temperature, and in winter, the pressure is considerably higher than the water vapor partial pressure of the outside air. Therefore, due to the pressure difference, the indoor water vapor passes through the gaps in the outer wall material and its constituent materials and diffuses into the outside air, but at the stage where the water vapor passes through the heat insulating layer, the temperature of the water vapor actually becomes close to the outside air temperature. Therefore, at this point, condensation has already formed, but this condensation is introduced into the ventilation layer through which the air flows, and is released into the outside air through the upper eave and attic before it is absorbed by the structural materials. This is what the ventilation layer construction method is designed to do.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] In the above-mentioned ventilation layer, since low-temperature outside air is directly introduced into the interior during cold weather, the internal temperature of the ventilation layer not only becomes as low as the outside temperature, but also reduces the temperature of the insulation layer. This is a contradictory condition from the viewpoint of preventing condensation if it penetrates into the interior and lowers its temperature and loses its insulation properties.

[0008] Therefore, it is a problem to directly introduce outside air into the ventilation layer inside the outer wall. Therefore, the present invention has a ventilation layer that achieves moisture resistance without directly introducing outside air into the ventilation layer inside the outside wall. The purpose is to provide external wall structures for wooden houses.

[0017] Reference numeral 7 denotes an exterior wall finishing material, and the above-mentioned waterproof layer 62
A vertical beam is attached to a heat insulating layer 6 having a wall finishing material to protect the house from wind and rain, and a ventilation layer 8 that communicates vertically is formed between the outer wall finishing material 7 and the waterproof layer 62. has been done. The vertical part 42 of the above-mentioned drainer 4 is sandwiched on the lower back side of the outer wall finishing material 7, and as shown in the figure, caulking 71 is used between the lower end of the outer wall finishing material 7 and the drainer 4 to prevent rainwater from entering. has been done. In addition, by installing the drainer 4, the air inside the floor is removed from the ventilation hole 21 of the packing material 2.
It is configured to reach the drainer 4 through the vent layer 8, and to be guided upward from below the ventilation layer 8.

In this embodiment configured as described above, the air under the floor whose temperature is relatively higher than that of the outside air is introduced into the ventilation layer 8 of the exterior wall finishing material 7 by the gas permeable packing material 2 and the drainer 4. The air flows out from above the ventilation layer 8 toward the eaves and attic.

Effects of the Invention As explained in the above embodiments, according to the present invention, the drain placed at the bottom of the outer wall does not directly introduce outside air into the ventilation layer inside the outer wall, but instead allows air to pass through the air-permeable packing material. Since only the air under the floor is introduced into the ventilation layer,
Since air with a higher temperature than the outside air passes through the ventilation layer, it is possible to prevent dew condensation inside the exterior wall caused by the temperature difference, and there is also the advantage that the surface temperature of the exterior wall finishing material on the indoor side is increased.

Further, according to the present invention, the above-mentioned ventilation layer can be dried by ventilating the outside air by opening the ventilation holes provided in the cloth foundation in summer, and furthermore, high temperature heat due to solar radiation can be discharged.
