The area around the window glass mounting area is decorated. FIG. 8 shows such a conventional automobile window molding, and in this figure, 20 is the wind molding. In this wind molding 20, the tip of a seal lip 22 protruding from a molding main body 21 fitted to the periphery of the windshield 1 is engaged with an uneven portion 23 formed on a rising wall 8 at the edge of the opening of the vehicle body. (For example, see Utility Model Application Publication No. 63-81710 and Utility Model Application Publication No. 63-85521).

It has been pointed out that when displacement occurs, the tip of the seal lip 22 and the uneven portion 23 come into sliding contact, causing a rubbing sound.

The flexible portion 12 flexibly deforms and absorbs vibrations, and the arcuate portion 10 at the tip of the seal lip 9 rolls into contact with the rising wall 8. Therefore, in this embodiment, there is no possibility that the tip of the seal lip 9 will slide into contact with the rising wall 8 and cause a rubbing noise.

By forming an arc-shaped part at the tip of the seal lip and connecting this arc-shaped part and the base of the seal lip with a flexible part with low rigidity, the windshield and the edge of the opening of the car body can be prevented by vibrations of the car body, etc. Even if there is a relative displacement, the flexible part flexibly deforms and absorbs vibrations, and the arcuate part rolls into contact with the rising wall.
There is no possibility that the tip of the seal lip and the rising wall will come into sliding contact and produce a rubbing noise.
