[Prior Art] Various types of copy-protection paper have been developed to prevent leakage of confidential information due to copying, and in order to prevent materials copied for internal meetings from being illegally leaked and re-copied. Although the original itself can be copied, there is a technology that darkens the entire document when copied onto other paper, making it impossible to decipher the recorded characters. 61-5996.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] This technology prints a sepia-toned pattern with a constant reflection density and transmission density on the paper surface. When this is copied onto regular copy paper as a document, the surface of the copy paper turns black, and the pattern printing interferes with the recorded characters, making the characters illegible even if the density of the copying machine is adjusted. However, since the ink density value of the paper is high, the surface of the paper originally exhibits a deep dark color, which poses a problem in that the characters recorded on the surface of the paper are difficult to read.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention has been made in view of the problems of the prior art, namely, on the surface of the base paper 1,
The solid printing layer 2 is formed with sepia tone ink having reflection density values of about 1.28 yellow, 1.16 magenta, and 0.81 cyan.
The pattern printing layer 3 that interferes with the recorded characters is overprinted with sepia tone ink having reflection density values of about 0.97, magenta 0.82, and cyan 0.52, and
On the back of base paper 1, yellow 1.05, magenta 0.94,
A solid printing layer 4 is formed with a sepia tone ink having a reflection density value of about 0.66 cyan, and preferably a recording character layer 5 is provided on the solid printing layer and the pattern printing layer on the surface of the base paper. Furthermore, by providing a transparent thin film layer 6 on the upper surface of the recording character layer 5, it is intended to provide a paper that cannot be recopied and eliminates the above-mentioned disadvantages.

[Example] An opaque base paper 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a solid printing layer 2 formed on its surface with sepia tone ink having reflection density values of yellow 1.28, magenta 1.16, and cyan 0.81. Values such as yellow are measured using a commercially available reflection densitometer RD918 manufactured by Macbeth Co., Ltd. in the United States.
- Measured with SB type (narrow band, no changing filter), and the value range of the densitometer is 0 to
2.0, and the concentration increases as the number increases.

On the upper surface of the solid printing layer 2, a pattern printing layer 3 which interferes with the recorded characters is overprinted with sepia tone ink having reflection density values of yellow 0.97, magenta 0.82, and cyan 0.52. As shown in the third figure, this pattern printing layer 3 is composed of a pattern 3a that combines vertical and horizontal lines, circular lines, etc., and interferes with recorded characters (not shown) to dazzle the naked eye.

Further, on the back side of the base paper 1, a solid printing layer 4 is formed using sepia tone ink having reflection density values of yellow 1.05, magenta 0.94, and cyan 0.66.
Due to this solid printing layer, it cannot be seen with transmitted light and cannot be copied.

FIG. 2 shows another embodiment in which a recording character layer 5 is provided on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer 3, and a transparent thin film layer 6 is provided from the upper surface of the recording character layer 5. This recorded character layer 5 is handwritten on the top surface of the pattern printing layer 3.
Formed by printing, copying, etc.

Now, when a document is placed in a copying machine using the base paper 1 as copy paper, the recorded characters printed on the document are copied as they are onto the surface of the base paper 1, and therefore the recorded characters are included in the pattern 3a of the pattern printing layer 3. It is displayed in black with the exact same appearance. In this state, the existence of the recorded characters is visible, so the characters can be clearly read.

Next, when the base paper 1 on which recorded characters have been copied is used as a document in a copying machine, the solid printing layer 2 and pattern printing layer 3 are darkened and copied onto the copy paper, making it difficult to decipher the recorded characters copied onto the copy paper. I can't. Further, when the copying machine is adjusted to a lighter color direction, the solid print layer 2 and the pattern print layer 3 become gradually thinner, but the characters cannot be read because the pattern 3a of the pattern print layer interferes with the recorded characters.

Furthermore, when the recorded character layer 5 is formed on the upper surface of the pattern printing layer 3, if a transparent thin film layer 6 is provided from the upper surface of the recorded character layer 5, the recorded characters are glossy and clearly visible. As mentioned above, the recorded characters became difficult to decipher.

(1) Since the solid print layer and pattern print layer are formed using sepia tone ink with a specific reflection density value, it is possible to copy originals using this paper, but if you copy this paper again as an original, the paper The surface becomes dark, making it impossible to read the text.
Therefore, misuse such as forgery and alteration can be prevented.
