ように両者が区別して視認されることを所期せし

ている。すなわちグラデーシヨン印刷層3は、複
雑なカムフラージ模様Cを組込んだ150度網点グ
ラデーシヨン版4を用いて潜像印刷層2に
PANTONE305程度のブルー色でオーバープリ
ントしてあり、カムフラージ模様Cによつて肉眼
が眩惑されるので潜像Aと背景Bの境界が不分明
となり両者の識別が困難となるが、コピーをした
場合カムフラージ模様Cは淡い色調のため再現さ
れず潜像Aと背景Bの区別が容易となる。上記グ
ラデーシヨン版4は第4図示のように上端は網点
がゼロであるが漸次下部に向かつて20%・30%・
40%・50%の濃度となつているので基材1の表面
も上部が淡く下部が濃く印刷される。

%程度の細線状微細子からなる背景Bは再現され
るため黒つぽくなり、したがつてこの明暗差によ
つて「コピー」の文字が明瞭に認められる。そし
て複写機濃度を淡くするにつれて背景Bの再現性
は弱まるため潜像との境界が不分明となるが、潜
像印刷層2に重ね刷りしたグラデーシヨン印刷層
3によつて該印刷層の濃度の高い部分が背景Bと
オーバーラツプしているためこの部分の背景Bは
再現される結果潜像Aは明瞭に認められる。上述
実施例におけるグラデーシヨン版4は上部が淡く
下部が濃くなつているので複写機濃度を最低にす
ると「コピー」の警告文字は第5図示のようにコ
ピー用紙の下部に、また最高濃度とした場合は上
部に、普通の場合は中間部に明瞭に現出した。
