Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve environment and to reduce costs by putting kitchen waste into a combustible dehydrating bag set in a dehydrating drum of a dehydrating machine and subjecting the waste to a dehydration treatment, then putting the combustible dehydrating bag into a combustible packaging bag and disposing this bag as combustible waste after sealing the bag. CONSTITUTION:The combustible dehydrating bag 5 is set in the dehydrating drum 4 of the small-sized dehydrating machine 1, the cap 3 of which is opened when a pedal 2 is trodden. The kitchen waste is put therein and is subjected to the dehydration treatment. The kitchen waste is taken out together with the combustible dehydrating bag 5 after the dehydration treatment and is put into the combustible packaging bag 4 made of kraft paper lined with a plastic film. The mouth of this bag is sealed by a cord 7. The package X which is formed by such treatment and is sealed at the mouth is immediately carried to a refuse throwing place or the bags are held stacked in the corner of a room and are carried by means of a wheeled carrier truck to the refuse throwing place after the several bags are accumulated. Since the package X can be handled in the same manner as with other bagged articles, the handling without the possibility of contaminating clothing during storage and transportation is possible.

Currently, the process involves transporting the waste in plastic containers to a treatment plant set up in the basement, pulverizing it with a disposer and adding water to make a slurry, then dewatering it with an appropriate dehydrator and discharging the water down the drain. Items are transported to garbage dumping sites such as landfills.

The conventional treatment method, as mentioned above, is to put kitchen waste in plastic containers and collect it in an underground treatment facility. This has become a problem because not only does the plastic container smell bad, but when the plastic containers are being moved, sewage can drip into hallways and other areas. In addition, because the underground treatment plant must be equipped with an expensive and space-consuming primary treatment facility, a large amount of equipment and maintenance costs are required.

Therefore, the present invention aims to improve the environment of a kitchen garbage storage area and to provide a method for treating kitchen waste that does not require a primary treatment facility.

This invention was made based on the fact that kitchen waste becomes combustible when dehydrated. A flammable dehydration bag is set in the dehydration drum of a dehydrator, and the kitchen waste is put into the dehydration bag. After dehydration treatment, the flammable dehydration bag containing the dehydrated kitchen waste is taken out from the dehydrator, and the bag is placed in a combustible packaging bag and sealed to become combustible waste. It is a method of processing things.

Further, as the dehydration bag, a bag that allows water to pass through without being damaged during dehydration and is flammable is used. Suitable packaging bags are flammable ones that emit as little harmful gas as possible during combustion and are made of a material that blocks odors, such as kraft paper bags laminated with a thin layer of plastic film.

In the treatment method according to the present invention, the dehydrator itself is used in place of a conventional plastic container, and the kitchen waste contained in the dehydration bag after dehydration treatment is placed in a flammable packaging bag and sealed, so that it is stored together with other garbage. You can stack them in the corner of your room, or transport them to the building's garbage dump without worrying about staining your clothes.

The processed package X according to the present invention can be handled in the same way as other packed items, so it can be stored or transported in a corner of the kitchen without worrying about staining clothes as in the past. Moreover, the only equipment required is a small dehydrator, and there is no need to leave several dirty plastic containers in the corner of the room, which is beneficial for environmental improvement and cost reduction. This is a great invention.
