に定尺に切断されて、切断ばりが生ぜず、寸法精度の高
い品質良好なものが得られる。切断部に噴射された水は
条材の切断粉や一部の切削油を洗い落し、条材受け板上
に噴出された水は、条材受け板上に落下した切断粉、切
削油、砥石の粉を多数の穴に洗い落す。従って、・条材
受け板上は清浄となり、切断後送られてくる条材にすり
傷が生じることがない。条材受け板の多数の穴に洗い落
した汚れた水は洗浄水受けに受けられ、下端の排出口よ
り排出され、オーバーフロー水槽の最初の水槽に収容さ
れる。洗浄水受けの下端排出口にはフィルターが設けら
れているので、汚れた水が排出される際、混入している
条材の切断粉や砥石の粉の多くは捕捉され、切断粉が貴
金属の場合は回収が容易となる。条材の切断が順次行わ
