Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable molding of a design product having designed surfaces in various surface roughness, by a method wherein a film having a transfer surface in various surface roughness is prepared and the film is molded by arranging the same within a mold. CONSTITUTION:A film 1 having a transfer surface 10 having fixed surface roughness is held on a mold surface so that the transfer surface 10 faces on the inside of a cavity 32. Then molding is performed by casting resin within the cavity 32 after mold clamping, the film 1 is peeled off from a molded body after mold breaking and a design product 2 having a designed surface 20 in fixed surface roughness is obtained.

[Prior art] When molding a resin design product with a design surface such as a mirror surface or a grain pattern with various surface roughnesses, the surface of the transfer mold for molding the design surface is subjected to a predetermined grain or mirror finish. A common method is to transfer the surface roughness of the surface of the transfer mold to the molded product.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, as described above, in the method of performing various processing on the mold surface for molding, it is possible to manufacture a molded product with only one type of surface roughness from one mold. In order to manufacture molded bodies with various surface roughnesses, it was often necessary to manufacture a number of molds depending on the type. Therefore, the cost required for mold production is large, and in the case of high-mix, low-volume production, the number of man-hours required for mold replacement becomes large. The present invention has been made in view of these circumstances,
The purpose is to manufacture designed products with designed surfaces with multiple surface roughnesses using one type of mold.

[Means for Solving the Problems] A method for manufacturing a resin design product of the present invention that solves the above problems includes placing a film having a transfer surface of a predetermined surface roughness on a mold surface with the transfer surface facing into the cavity. A holding process in which the mold is held, a molding process in which resin is injected into the cavity after the mold is closed, and the film is peeled off from the molded body after the mold is opened, and the transferred surface is a design surface with a predetermined surface roughness. It is characterized by consisting of a peeling step to obtain a quantity.

In the holding step, a film having a transfer surface with a predetermined surface roughness is held on the mold surface. In this case, it is necessary to hold the transfer surface so that it faces into the cavity. As a method for holding this film on the mold surface, conventionally known means such as mechanical holding, static electricity adsorption, or negative pressure such as vacuuming can be used.

The peeling step is a step of peeling the film from the obtained molded body. The surface roughness of the transfer surface is transferred to the surface of the molded body that is in close contact with the transfer surface of the film. Therefore, by peeling off the film, the inverted shape of the transferred surface is transferred to the surface of the molded article, and a designed amount having a designed surface with a predetermined surface roughness is formed.
