BACKGROUND TECHNOLOGY Coil coating lines perform surface treatment on thin long steel plates and aluminum plates while unwinding them from coils, and various processing operations such as degreasing, water washing, and chemical conversion treatment are performed. When treating both sides of metal at the same time, immersion treatment as described in Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-5667 "Metal Surface Treatment Equipment" is generally used, and when treating only one side of metal, spray treatment equipment is used. is used. In spray-type treatment equipment, for example, spray piping is installed below the object to be treated, such as a steel plate, that runs horizontally inside the treatment booth of the coating process, and the treatment liquid containing the phosphate conversion agent, etc., contained in the tank is sprayed. is pumped up by a circulation pump and sprayed from the nozzle of the spray piping onto the lower surface of the object to be treated.

However, with this type of spraying, droplets of processing liquid tend to reach the back side (top surface) of the object to be processed and adhere to the edges, so in order to maintain quality, the edges must be cut off after processing to produce a product. This has the drawbacks of requiring extra steps and lowering the yield of the product.

Means for Solving the Problems and Their Effects The present invention provides single-sided chemical conversion treatment equipment installed in a coil coating line where a strip-shaped thin plate is surface-treated by running it while unwinding it from a coil.
The present invention is characterized in that an air discharge means is provided on the opposite side of the object to be treated, facing the spray means for spraying the treatment liquid toward the object to be treated.

Based on this configuration, according to the present invention, air is blown onto one side of the workpiece to form an air film, and the air flows outward from the edge portion, so that the spray is not sprayed onto the opposite side. Even if the droplets are released, they will be blown away by the airflow and will not stick to the back side like in the past. Therefore, only one side is processed accurately, improving quality. Since it is no longer necessary to cut off the edges as in the conventional method, the process is simplified, the yield of the product is improved, and the cost is reduced.

It is preferable to use a hollow member provided with a large number of air injection holes as the air release means. Preferably, this hollow member is connected to a source of pressurized air via an air preheater and is configured such that pressurized air is blown out at a controlled temperature.

Embodiment FIGS. 1 and 2 schematically represent the entire single-sided chemical conversion treatment equipment for a coil coating line according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention.
runs horizontally within the processing booth 10, and a spray pipe 12 is installed below it, and the processing liquid stored in the tank 14 is pumped up by the circulation pump 16 from the nozzle of the pipe 12 to the lower surface of the object W to be processed. and is being sprayed. According to the present invention, an air discharge means 20 is provided opposite the spray pipe 12 on the side opposite to the object W to be treated, that is, close to above the object W to be treated. The air release means 20 is the object to be processed W.
A perforated plate 24 having a large number of air injection holes 30 (FIG. 3) is attached to the lower surface facing the object W to be processed. The interior of the hollow rectangular parallelepiped 22 is connected to a heat exchanger type air preheater 26 provided within the processing booth 10, which is connected to a source of pressurized air 28 outside the booth. The workpiece W is guided by the roll R, passes through the single-sided chemical conversion equipment, is unwound from the coil A, and is transferred to the coil B.
It gets wound up.

Therefore, the pressurized air generated by the pressurized air source 28 first enters the air preheater 26 and is adjusted to a predetermined temperature, then flows into the hollow rectangular parallelepiped 22, and is then discharged from the air injection holes 30 of the perforated plate 24 to the workpiece W. Spray toward the top of the As shown in FIG. 3, the air flowing out from the air injection holes 30 collides with the object W to be processed and flows horizontally, forming an air film 32 on the surface thereof. As a result, droplets caused by spraying from below are blocked by the horizontal air flow and the air film 32 and cannot attach to the upper surface of the object to be processed W, but are blown away by the air flow and scattered. In this way, the situation in which the processing liquid adheres to the back surface of the object to be processed, unlike in the conventional case, does not occur.
